Stutzen stock

Abstract

A Stutzen stock of a repeating rifle that includes a stock front portion and a stock rear portion. To make available a more versatile Stutzen stock, the stock front portion is detachably connected to the stock rear portion.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A Stutzen stock of a repeating rifle with a stock front portion and a stock rear portion, wherein the stock front portion is detachably connected to the stock rear portion. 
     
     
         2 . The Stutzen stock as in  claim 1 , wherein the stock front portion and the stock rear portion are connected to each other by means of a plug connector. 
     
     
         3 . The Stutzen stock as in  claim 2 , wherein the plug connector is secured by fastening elements. 
     
     
         4 . The Stutzen stock as in  claim 2 , wherein the plug connector comprises a male plug-in component that is disposed on the stock front portion and a slot-shaped female receiving component that corresponds to the male plug-in component and that is disposed on the stock rear portion. 
     
     
         5 . The Stutzen stock as in  claim 3 , wherein on the stock rear portion, the slot-shaped female receiving component is formed by an upper support surface and lateral rib-like members on the inside surface of two side cheek pieces of the stock rear portion. 
     
     
         6 . The Stutzen stock as in  claim 5 , wherein disposed on the rib-like members are inside recesses, the depth of which corresponds to the height of the male plug-in component and which laterally bound the slot-shaped female receiving component. 
     
     
         7 . The Stutzen stock as in  claim 2 , wherein the plug connector comprises a positioning device. 
     
     
         8 . The Stutzen stock as in  claim 7 , wherein the positioning device comprises a positioning element that is disposed on the stock front portion for an interlocking engagement in a corresponding receiving element on the stock rear portion. 
     
     
         9 . The Stutzen stock as in  claim 1 , wherein disposed on the front end of the stock rear portion are curved contact surfaces for making contact with the corresponding connecting surfaces of the stock front portion. 
     
     
         10 . The Stutzen stock as in  claim 1 , wherein the front portion has the form of a Stutzen front stock. 
     
     
         11 . The Stutzen stock as in  claim 1 , wherein the stock is made of a plastic material. 
     
     
         12 . The Stutzen stock as in  claim 1 , wherein inserts are disposed in at least one of the stock front portion and the stock rear portion.
