Abstract

A multipurpose exercise device that includes a body part, the upper surface of which forms an essentially planar support surface for performing a variety of exercise movements by supporting oneself on it. The device comprises wing parts arranged in connection with the body part, which can be placed on two opposite sides of the body part, supported against the floor surface, which wing parts can be locked in place with respect to the body part or are formed as an integral part of the body part.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 7 . (canceled)

         8 . A multipurpose step board comprising:
 a step board body having an essentially planar upper support surface; and a plurality of wing members connected to the step board body; wherein
 at least one wing member is configured to provide support against a floor surface on each of two opposite sides of the step board body;
 each wing member is either an integral part of the step board body or is configured to be locked in place with respect to the step board body; and
 the wing members form lower level support surfaces.

         9 . The step board of claim 8 , wherein each wing member is provided with fastening means for attachment of one or more additional training devices.

         10 . The step board of claim 8 , wherein the step board body is substantially box-shaped, and the wing members are hingedly connected to the step board body, such that the wing members can assume either a first support position in which the wing members are configured to provide support against the floor surface or a second storage position in which the wing members transform the step board body essentially into a closed box.

         11 . The step board of claim 8 , wherein the step board body is essentially box-shaped and the wing members are connected in a pull-out manner to a lower part of the step board body.

         12 . The step board of claim 11 , wherein the wing members are pivotally connected to the lower part of the step board body; wherein
 each wing member is pivotable around a vertical axis; and each wing member can be pulled out in different angular positions with respect to the step board body.

         13 . The step board of claim 8 , the step board body having a width and the wing members having a width that is less than or substantially equal to the width of the step board body.

         14 . The step board of claim 8 , wherein the step board body is collapsible so that together with the wing members the step board body forms a flat package when collapsed.

         15 . A multipurpose step board comprising:
 a step board body having an essentially planar upper support surface; and a plurality of wing members connected to the step board body; wherein
 at least one wing member is configured to provide support against a floor surface on each of two opposite sides of the step board body;
 each wing member is either an integral part of the step board body or is configured to be locked in place with respect to the step board body;
 each wing member is provided with fastening means for attachment of one or more additional training devices; and
 the wing members form lower level support surfaces.

         16 . The step board of claim 15 , wherein the step board body is substantially box-shaped, and the wing members are hingedly connected to the step board body, such that the wing members can assume either a first support position in which the wing members are configured to provide support against the floor surface or a second storage position in which the wing members transform the step board body essentially into a closed box.

         17 . The step board of claim 15 , wherein the step board body is essentially box-shaped and the wing members are connected in a pull-out manner to a lower part of the step board body.

         18 . The step board of claim 17 , wherein the wing members are pivotally connected to the lower part of the step board body; wherein
 each wing member is pivotable around a vertical axis; and each wing member can be pulled out in different angular positions with respect to the step board body.

         19 . The step board of claim 15 , the step board body having a width and the wing members having a width that is less than or substantially equal to the width of the step board body.

         20 . The step board of claim 15 , wherein the step board body is collapsible so that together with the wing members the step board body forms a flat package when collapsed.
