Abstract

The embodiments of the Screed Bracket are comprised of a screed clamp and a handle bracket. The screed clamp is essentially a rectangular, three dimensional structure that fits over a screed. The screed bracket forms one or more screed apertures and the handle bracket forms a handle aperture. The one or more screed apertures are located so that a fastener can be installed through the screed apertures, thereby securing the screed clamp. The handle bracket is integrally formed with and to the screed clamp in such a manner as the handle bracket protrudes from the screed clamp at a specific angle. The handle aperture is used to secure the handle bracket to a handle. The handle is inserted into the handle bracket and the handle is secured via a fastener that is installed through the handle aperture thereby securing the handle bracket to the handle.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
I claim:

         1 . A screed bracket comprising
 a. a screed clamp; b. a handle bracket; c. wherein the screed clamp is a rectangular structure with a top, a front side, and a back side; d. wherein the opening formed by the front side and the back side of the screed clamp of the screed clamp can accept a screed board.

2 . The screed bracket described in claim 1 comprising a screed clamp that will accept a 2×4 screed.

3 . The screed bracket described in claim 2 comprising a screed bracket that forms one or more screed apertures.

4 . The screed bracket described in claim 3 comprising a screed bracket that forms a handle aperture.

5 . The screed bracket described in claim 4 comprising a screed bracket that forms the one or more screed apertures located near the bottom edge of the screed clamp so that a fastener can be installed through the one or more screed aperture thereby securing the screed clamp to the screed.

6 . The screed bracket described in claim 5 comprising a handle bracket that is integrally formed with the screed clamp in such a manner so that the handle bracket protrudes from the screed clamp at angle between ten (10) and thirty-eight (38) degrees.

7 . The screed bracket described in claim 6 comprising a handle that protrudes at approximately a thirty-eight (38) degree angle.

8 . The screed bracket described in claim 7 comprising an entire assembly manufactured from polymeric material.

9 . The screed bracket described in claim 7 an entire assembly manufactured from recycled polymeric material.

10 . The screed bracket described in claim 6 comprising the handle aperture is used to secure the handle wherein the handle is inserted into the handle bracket and the handle is secured via a fastener.

11 . The screed bracket described in claim 6 comprising a handle bracket and an interior of the interior of the handle bracket that forms stepped grips in the interior of the handle bracket that serves to securely grip the wooden handle when inserted in handle bracket.
