Abstract

A device configured to be coupled to a flash drive is described. The flash drive has a first attachment element coupled to the flash drive. The device comprises a housing having a recess configured to receive the flash drive. The recess has a plurality of contacts configured to interface with a plurality of standard contacts of the flash drive. The device also comprises a second attachment element configured to be magnetically attracted to the first attachment element of the flash drive. The first attachment element and the second attachment element have magnetic properties. The first attachment element and the second attachment element are capable of seating the flash drive in the recess.

         21 . A flash drive package comprising:
 a flash drive;   a holder;   a recess formed in the holder for receiving the flash drive;   a first attachment element having magnetic properties coupled to the flash drive; and   a second attachment element having magnetic properties coupled to the holder;   wherein the first attachment element and the second attachment element are magnetically attracted to each other, and wherein the first attachment element and the second attachment element are configured to seat the flash drive in the recess of the holder.   
     
     
         22 . The flash drive package of  claim 21 , wherein the first attachment element includes a magnet and the second attachment element includes a ferromagnetic material. 
     
     
         23 . The flash drive package of  claim 21 , wherein the first attachment element includes a ferromagnetic material and the second attachment element includes a magnet. 
     
     
         24 . The flash drive package of  claim 21 , wherein the first attachment element and the second attachment element include magnets. 
     
     
         25 . The flash drive package of  claim 21 , wherein the holder is substantially rectangular. 
     
     
         26 . The flash drive package of  claim 21 , wherein the holder is approximately the same dimensions as a credit card. 
     
     
         27 . The flash drive package of  claim 21 , wherein the first attachment element is at least partially embedded in the flash drive. 
     
     
         28 . The flash drive package of  claim 21 , wherein the first attachment element is completely enclosed in the flash drive. 
     
     
         29 . The flash drive package of  claim 21 , wherein the second attachment element is at least partially embedded in the holder. 
     
     
         30 . The flash drive package of  claim 21 , wherein the second attachment element is completely enclosed in the holder. 
     
     
         31 . The flash drive package of  claim 21 , wherein the first attachment element and the second attachment element cause an audible feedback to be generated when the flash drive is seated in the recess. 
     
     
         32 . The flash drive package of  claim 21 , further comprising a thumb notch formed in an edge of the holder continuous with the recess. 
     
     
         33 . The flash drive package of  claim 21 , further comprising:
 an RFID coupled to the flash drive, the RFID having an address associated with the RFID; and   a visual indicator coupled to the flash drive, the visual indicator configured to provide a visual indication when the address associated with the RFID is selected.
