Abstract
An electrical system, which includes a light switch housing and an AC-to-DC converter carried by the light switch housing. The electrical system includes an input power line which provides an AC signal to an input of the converter and an output power line coupled to an output of the converter. An electrical device operates in response to receiving an output signal from the output power line, wherein the output signal is a DC signal.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 20 . (canceled)
21 . An electrical system, comprising
an electrical control assembly which includes a dimmer switch in communication with an AC-to-DC converter such that said electrical system is allowed to provide DC current to an electrical device that is in communication with said electrical control assembly through a mounted electrical conductor and said electrical device is designed to operate in response to receiving a DC current; and an electrical controller which provides a control signal S Control modulated with the DC signal to said electrical device.
22 . The system of claim 21 , wherein said electrical system drives the DC current to a level above or below a threshold level.
23 . The system of claim 21 , wherein said electrical device is a solid state lamp or an electric motor.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
