Mechanism for Creating Smoke-Blowing Figurines

Abstract

The invention is a structural utility in the interior of a hard and nonflammable figurine that results in the manipulation of smoke to create an outpouring of smoke from one or more outlets in the figurine.

1 . Structure of a main cavity (claim) wider at the top and decreasing in size toward the bottom surrounded by solid boundaries comprising a figurine or otherwise solid structure, connected to a secondary cavity ( claim 3 ) allowing for the expression of smoke through the secondary cavity when a flammable material—paper or otherwise—is inserted in particular fashion ( claim 4 ) in the top of the main cavity and lit with fire ( claim 5 ). 
     
     
         2 . A cone-shaped main cavity within hardened clay or another solid, nonflammable material resistant to the damaging effects of heat and fire, comprising a chamber to collect smoke from burning paper or other flammable material inserted into the top of the cavity. 
     
     
         3 . A secondary cavity comprising one or more smaller, air-filled chambers constructed at an angle to the main cavity ( claim 2 ) and connected to the main cavity, whereby smoke from a burning material ( claim 4 ) accumulating in the main cavity ( claim 2 ) may exit the figurine, allowing for the connected cavities ( claims 2  &  3 ) to draw continual smoke from the center of the flammable material ( claim 4 ) for as long as the flammable material burns and creates smoke. 
     
     
         4 . The process by which paper or other flammable material is
 formed into a cylinder in Which airflow is possible and inserted so as to rest on the top walls of the cone-shaped cavity and stay erect, not obstructing any intended secondary cavities ( claim 3 ).
 This process includes but is not limited to the insertion of the cylindrically shaped flammable material into the main cavity in a fashion that is air-tight around the circumference of the opening of the main cavity, though possibilities for airflow between the flammable material and the top of the chamber may comprise secondary cavities ( claim 3 ) whereby smoke may be made to intentionally travel for a desired effect. 
   
     
     
         5 . The process by which the top of the paper or other flammable material is lit on fire while the bottom of the paper cylinder ( claim 4 ) rests on the top walls of the cone-shaped main cavity ( claim 2 ) in such a manner so as not to obstruct any secondary cavities ( claim 3 ), allowing for the passage of smoke from the top of the flammable cylinder down through the main cavity and into any secondary cavities and ultimately exiting the figurine.
