Abstract
According to one embodiment, a write-once type information storage medium using a recording material which has a low to high characteristic that a light reflectivity in a recording mark increases with respect to a non-recording area and which has a recording characteristic in accordance with a principle of recording without substrate deformation, wherein the recording material includes at least an organic metal complex, and wherein the organic metal complex includes a center metal.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . (canceled)
2 . An information storage medium comprising:
a first layer; and
a second layer,
wherein
the first layer comprises:
a bust cutting area;
a system lead-in area located outward of the burst cutting area;
a data lead-in area located outward of the system lead-in area; and
a first data area located outward of the data lead-in area,
the second layer comprises:
a second data area;
a data lead-out area located inward of the second data area; and
a system lead-out area located inward of the data lead-out area,
the burst cutting area, the system lead-in area, and the system lead-out area have a first track pitch,
the first data area, the second data area, the data lead-in area, and the data lead-out area have a second track pitch,
the first track pitch is bigger than the second track pitch, and
a whole of the data lead-in area and a whole of the data lead-out area overlap each other in a radial direction.
3 . A reproducing method for the information storage medium according to claim 2 , the method comprising:
irradiating the information storage medium with light; and reproducing information from the information storage medium.
4 . A reproducing apparatus for the information storage medium according to claim 2 , the apparatus comprising:
an optical head configured to irradiate the information storage medium with light; and a reproducing module configured to reproduce information from the information storage medium.
5 . A recording method for the information storage medium according to claim 2 , the method comprising:
irradiating the information storage medium with light; and recording information on the information storage medium.
6 . A recording apparatus for the information storage medium according to claim 2 , the apparatus comprising:
a recording module configured to irradiate the information storage medium with light and to record information on the information storage medium.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
