Card games

Abstract

A card game where participating players place a bet in an individual player area, an individual hand of card(s) is dealt to each participating player and the dealer; the players' individual hands and the dealer's hand are accessed using conventional Baccarat points count rules. Each player has the option of placing an additional draw bet to draw an additional card, the dealer drawing an additional card if the point-count of the cards initially dealt to the dealer is within a predetermined range, the dealer otherwise standing on the cards initially dealt to the dealer, where the dealer or any player draws an additional card, the point-count for the additional card is added to the point-card of the original hand thereby determining the value of the completed hand. The player wining if the point count of the player's individual completed hand is higher than that of the dealer's completed hand.

         11 . A card game comprising the steps of:
 providing a playing area with the playing area being divided into a plurality of individual player areas;   one or more players placing a bet in a bet area of an individual player area, to participate in the game;   dealing an individual hand of one or more cards to each of the one or more players;   dealing a hand of one or more cards to a dealer;   a value of each of the player's individual hands and the dealer's hand being accessed using conventional baccarat points count rules;   each player having the option of placing an additional bet in a draw bet area of the player's individual player area to draw an additional card;   the dealer drawing an additional card if the point-count of the one or more cards initially dealt to the dealer is within a predetermined range, otherwise the dealer standing on the one or more cards initially dealt to the dealer;   where the dealer or any player draws an additional card the point-count for the additional card is added to the point-card of the original hand thereby determining the value of the completed hand; and   the player wining the game if the point count of the player's individual completed hand is higher than that of the dealer.   
     
     
         12 . The card game according to  claim 11 , further comprising the step of paying out winning bets at predesignated odds. 
     
     
         13 . The card game according to  claim 11 , further comprising the step of initially dealing one card face up to each player and dealing one card face down to the dealer. 
     
     
         14 . The card game according to  claim 11 , further comprising the step of initially dealing two cards face up to each player and dealing two cards, one face up and the other face down, to the dealer. 
     
     
         15 . The card game according to  claim 11 , further comprising the step of initially dealing three cards face up to each player and dealing three cards, one face up and two face down, to the dealer. 
     
     
         16 . The card game according to  claim 11 , further comprising the step of providing each player with an option of drawing a second additional card. 
     
     
         17 . The card game according to  claim 16 , further comprising the step of providing each player with an option of drawing a second additional card provided that the value of the Player's hand, comprising the initial cards dealt to the player and the first additional card, is within a predetermined range. 
     
     
         18 . The card game according to  claim 11 , further comprising the step of playing the game with a deck comprising one or more conventional packs of playing cards. 
     
     
         19 . The card game according to  claim 11 , further comprising the step of playing the game with a deck comprising one or more packs of cards, and the or each pack having more or less cards than a conventional pack of playing cards. 
     
     
         20 . The card game according to  claim 11 , further comprising the step of one of playing or reproducing the game in electronic format, by remote betting on the world wide web, on the internet, on a local area network or a remote network, or by way of a scratch-card or a lottery, or as a family game or a fun game.
