Abstract

The present invention relates to a portable service point, for instance a bar or a check-in counter, where the portable service point comprises at least one front wall where each front wall has a top front plate pivotally attached to its upper edge, -at least two side walls, where each side wall has a side top plate pivotally attached to the upper edge of the side wall, each of the side walls further being pivotally connected to edges adjacent to the upper edge of the front wall. The present invention also regards a method for unfolding and folding a portable service point.

1 . A portable and foldable service point comprising
 at least one front wall ( 2 ) wherein each front wall ( 2 ) has a top front plate ( 5 ) pivotally attached to its upper edge,   at least two side walls ( 4 ) wherein each side wall ( 4 ) has a top side plate ( 6 ) pivotally attached to the upper edge of the side wall ( 4 ), and wherein each of the side walls ( 4 ) is pivotally connected to edges adjacent to the upper edge of the front wall ( 2 ), characterized in that in that the top front plate ( 5 ) and the side top plate ( 6 ) are provided with adjacent parts ( 20 ,  21 ), where one adjacent part ( 20 ,  21 ) is designed to accommodate the other adjacent part ( 21 ,  20 ), where each of the side top plates ( 6 ) further is slidably connected to the side wall ( 4 ) using the abutting portions ( 20 ,  21 ) as sliding means to bring the abutting portions ( 20 ,  21 ) into engaged position with one another.   
     
     
         2 . A portable service point according to  claim 1 ,
 characterized in that the side walls ( 4 ) and the front wall ( 2 ) are arranged to be placed in a folded position, pivoting the side walls ( 4 ) and the front wall ( 2 ) into a position placing the side walls ( 4 ) and the front wall ( 2 ) essentially parallel with each other.   
     
     
         3 . A portable service point according to  claim 1  or  2 ,
 characterized in that in an operable position ready to use, the side walls ( 4 ) and the front wall ( 2 ) are arranged to be placed in an open position wherein each side wall ( 4 ) is arranged essentially perpendicular to the front wall ( 2 ). 
 
     
     
         4 . A portable service point according to  claim 1 ,
 characterized in that in an operable position ready to use, the top front plate ( 5 ) and the side top plate ( 6 ) are in horizontal positions and an abutting portion ( 21 ) of each of the side top plates ( 6 ) engages with an abutting portion ( 20 ) of the front top plate ( 5 ).   
     
     
         5 . A portable service point according to  claim 4 ,
 characterized in t h a one of the abutting portions ( 20 ,  21 ), preferably the abutting portion ( 21 ) of the front top plate ( 6 ), has the shape of a recess and the other abutting portion ( 20 ), preferably the abutting portion ( 20 ) of the top front plate ( 5 ), has the shape of a rail.   
     
     
         6 . A portable service point according to  claim 1 ,
 characterized in that in an operable position ready to use, two front walls ( 2 ) are included in the portable service point and the two top front plates ( 5 ) are arranged in a position wherein the edges of the two top front plates ( 5 ) facing each other are abutting.   
     
     
         7 . A portable service point according to  claim 1 ,
 characterized in that a working plate ( 11 ) is pivotally connected to an inner side surface of each of the front walls ( 2 ) and provided to be placed in an horizontal position in an operable position ready for use of the portable service point.   
     
     
         8 . A portable service point according to either of  claim 1  or  7 ,
 characterized in that the top front plate(s) ( 5 ), the side top plate(s) ( 6 ) and possibly also the working plate(s) ( 11 ) have folded positions wherein the top front plate(s) ( 5 ), the side top plates ( 6 ) and the working plate(s) ( 11 ) are placed in vertical positions essentially in parallel with the front wall ( 2 ) and side wall ( 4 ) respectively. 
 
     
     
         9 . Method for unfolding a portable service point in accordance with  claim 1 ,
 bringing at least one front wall ( 2 ) and at least two side walls ( 4 ) into a position wherein each side wall ( 4 ) is arranged essentially perpendicular to the front wall ( 2 ),   bringing a top front plate ( 5 ) and top side plate ( 6 ) into the horizontal position,   moving each side top plate ( 6 ) along the upper edge of each side wall ( 4 ) into a position wherein an abutting portion ( 21 ) of the edge of the side top plate ( 6 ) facing the top front plate ( 5 ) engages with an abutting portion ( 20 ) of the top front plate ( 5 ).   
     
     
         10 . Method for unfolding a portable service point, in accordance with  claim 9 ,
 wherein bringing a working plate ( 11 ) pivotally connected to an inner side surface of each of the front walls( 2 ), into a horizontal position.
