Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A discreet belt for a clothing article, the belt comprising:
an elongated strap extending between a first end and a second end; a first adjusting element fixedly connected with the first end and being slidably connected to the elongated strap thereby forming a first loop, wherein the first adjusting element is configured to increase and/or decrease the length of the elongated strap so that the belt may be tightened and/or loosened around an outer surface of the clothing article to secure the clothing article around a waist of a user; and a first fastening element slidably connected to the first loop of the elongated strap, wherein the first fastening element is adapted to releasably close the belt around the outer surface of the clothing article.
2 . A discreet belt as recited in claim 1 , further comprising a second adjusting element fixedly connected with the second end and being slidably connected to the elongated strap thereby forming a second loop, wherein the first and second adjusting elements are configured to increase and/or decrease the length of the elongated strap so that the belt may be tightened and/or loosened around an outer surface of the clothing article to secure the clothing article around a waist of a user.
3 . A discreet belt as recited in claim 2 , further comprising a second fastening element slidably connected to the second loop of the elongated strap, wherein the second fastening element is configured to releasably engage the first fastening element so as to close the belt around the outer surface of the clothing article by engaging the first fastening element.
4 . The discreet belt as recited in claim 1 , wherein the elongated strap is a fabric material.
5 . The discreet belt as recited in claim 1 , wherein the elongated strap is semi-transparent, transparent, opaque, textile material, or a combination thereof.
6 . The discreet belt as recited in claim 4 , wherein the textile material is stretchable.
7 . The discreet belt as recited in claim 1 , wherein the elongated strap is stretchable.
8 . The discreet belt as recited in claim 1 , wherein the elongated strap is made of plastic.
9 . The discreet belt as recited in claim 1 , wherein the elongated strap is made from a thermoplastic polymer.
10 . The discreet belt as recited in claim 9 , wherein said thermoplastic polymer is polyurethane.
11 . The discreet belt as recited in claim 1 , wherein the first fastening element is made of a hard plastic.
12 . The discreet belt as recited in claim 1 , wherein the first adjusting element is made of a hard plastic.
14 . The discreet belt of claim 1 , wherein the first fastening element is a clasp, a closure buckle, or a clip.
15 . The discreet belt as recited in claim 1 , wherein the first adjusting element is a cinch buckle.
17 . The discreet belt as recited in claim 1 , which is adopted specifically for a clothing article being pants or trousers.
18 . A discreet belt for a clothing article, the belt comprising:
an elongated strap of textile material extending between a first end and a second end; a first adjusting element fixedly connected with the first end and being slidably connected to the elongated strap thereby forming a first loop, wherein the first adjusting element is configured to increase and/or decrease the length of the elongated strap so that the belt may be tightened and/or loosened around an outer surface of the clothing article to secure the clothing article around a waist of a user; a second adjusting element fixedly connected with the second end and being slidably connected to the elongated strap thereby forming a second loop, wherein the first and second adjusting elements are configured to increase and/or decrease the length of the elongated strap so that the belt may be tightened and/or loosened around an outer surface of the clothing article to secure the clothing article around a waist of a user; a first fastening element slidably connected to the first loop of the elongated strap, wherein the first fastening element is configured to releasably close the belt around the outer surface of the clothing article; and a second fastening element slidably connected to the second loop of the elongated strap, wherein the second fastening element is configured to releasably close the belt around the outer surface of the clothing article by engaging the first fastening element.
19 . A discreet belt as recited in claim 18 , wherein the first fastening element is a female fastener and the second fastening element is a make fastener configured to engage with the female fastener.
20 . A discreet belt for a clothing article, the belt comprising:
an elongated strap of textile material extending between a first end and a second end; a first adjusting element fixedly connected with the first end and being slidably connected to the elongated strap thereby forming a first loop, wherein the first adjusting element is configured to increase and/or decrease the length of the elongated strap so that the belt may be tightened and/or loosened around an outer surface of the clothing article to secure the clothing article around a waist of a user; a first fastening element slidably connected to the first loop of the elongated strap, wherein the first fastening element is configured to releasably close the belt around the outer surface of the clothing article; and a second fastening element slidably connected to the second end of the elongated strap, wherein the second fastening element is configured to releasably close the belt around the outer surface of the clothing article by engaging the first fastening element.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
