Claims
Abstract
The invention relates to an adhesive composition comprising at least one natural latex and at least one polymeric composition having a glass transition temperature ranging from −50° C. to 0° C. The invention also relates to a membrane obtained after drying the adhesive composition according to the invention, to a combination of a flexible surface coating with an adhesive composition according to the invention, to a method for applying a flexible surface coating onto a substrate as well as a substrate coated with a peelable adhesive membrane according to the invention.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An adhesive composition comprising:
a) from 10% to 40% by weight of at least one natural latex, b) from 10% to 40% by weight of dry material based on the total weight of the adhesive composition, of at least one polymeric composition having a glass transition temperature ranging from −50° C. to 0° C., said polymeric composition comprising:
i) at least one copolymer or one mixture of at least two polymers comprising at least one (meth)acrylate or (meth)acrylic monomer, and/or
ii) at least one mixture of at least two polymers comprising at least one polyester and at least one polyurethane, and/or
iii) at least one copolymer of vinyl acetate and of ethylene.
2 . The adhesive composition according to claim 1 , further comprising from 10% to 40% by weight based on the total weight of the adhesive composition, of at least one filler having an apparent density ranging from 1.30 to 1.70.
3 . The adhesive composition according to the preceding claim, wherein
a) the natural latex represents from 15% to 35%, preferably from 20% to 30% by weight of the total weight of the adhesive composition and/or b) the polymeric composition represents from 10% to 25%, preferably from 12% to 20% by weight of dry material based on the total weight of the adhesive composition, and/or c) the filler(s) represent(s) from 15% to 35%, preferably from 20% to 30% by weight of the total weight of the composition.
4 . The adhesive composition according to one of the preceding claims, further comprising up to 10% by weight of a tackifying resin, preferably selected from rosin esters, terpene resins, terpene phenol resins and dispersions based on terpene phenol resin.
5 . The adhesive composition according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the polymeric composition has a glass transition temperature ranging from −40° C. to −10° C., preferably ranging from −37° C. to −15° C.
6 . The adhesive composition according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the copolymer is a terpolymer of vinyl acetate, of ethylene and of acrylate.
7 . The adhesive composition according to one of claims 1 to 5 , wherein the polymeric composition comprises a terpolymer of vinyl acetate, of ethylene and of acrylate and a mixture of polyester and polyurethane.

The adhesive composition according to one of the preceding claims, further comprising fibers, preferably cellulose fibers, glass fibers, rubber fibers, natural fibers such as cotton, viscose, jute, sisal or synthetic fibers such as polyamide, polyester, polyacrylonitrile, polypropylene, polyethylene fibers.
9 . A method for applying a flexible surface coating on a substrate comprising the following steps:
a) applying an adhesive composition layer according to one of claims 1 to 8 on the substrate, b) displaying the flexible coating on the substrate.

The method for applying a surface coating according to the preceding claim, wherein the amount of applied adhesive composition is greater than or equal to 200 g/m 2 , preferably greater than or equal to 250 g/m 2 , still preferably greater than or equal to 300 g/m 2 , more particularly greater than or equal to 350 g/m 2 .
11 . The method for applying a surface coating according to claim 9 or 10 , comprising before step a), a step for applying a weft or a non-woven reinforcing strip on the substrate.
12 . The method for applying a surface coating according to claim 11 , wherein the weft is selected from a grid, a woven or non-woven material.
13 . The method for applying a surface coating according to one of claims 9 to 12 , comprising the steps a) and b), an additional step for drying the adhesive composition so as to obtain a membrane, followed by application of an adhesive composition different from the one according to one of claims 1 to 8 onto the membrane.
14 . The method for applying a surface coating according to one of claims 9 to 13 , comprising a subsequent step for smoothing the adhesive composition under the flexible surface coating.
15 . A method for renovation of a substrate coated with a peelable adhesive film, obtained after drying of the adhesive composition according to one of claims 1 to 8 , and with a flexible surface coating, said method comprising a step for pulling off the flexible surface coating.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
