Abstract
A table lift having a base and a lift attached to the base for movement between a lowered position to a raised position for installation of articles. A platform pivotally attaches to the lift for movement of the platform between a generally horizontal position and an inclined position. The platform is sized and shaped to receive at least one article.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A table lift, comprising:
a base; a lift attached to the base for movement between a lowered position to a raised position for installation of articles; a platform pivotally attached to the lift for movement of the platform between a generally horizontal position and an inclined position, the platform being sized and shaped to receive at least one article.
2 . The table lift of claim 1 , the base comprising an extended portion configured for contact with the platform in the inclined position.
3 . The table lift of claim 1 , wherein the table lift has a reduced width when in the inclined position.
4 . The table lift of claim 1 , the lift comprising a scissor lift.
5 . The table lift of claim 1 , wherein the platform pivotally attaches to the lift at about the point of center of gravity of the platform.
6 . The table lift of claim 1 , the lift comprising a lower frame attached to the base and an upper frame pivotally attached to the platform, a pair of first arms and a pair of second arms moveably connected between the lower frame and the upper frame.
7 . The table lift of claim 6 , wherein each first arm pivotally attaches at one end to the lower frame and at the opposite end moveably engages the upper frame;
each second arm pivotally attaches at one end to the upper frame and at the opposite end moveably engages the lower frame; and each first arm pivotally attaches to a corresponding second arm at about a mid-point of each arm.
8 . A system for installation of a panel, comprising:
a base; a lift attached to the base and having a means for movement between a lowered position to a raised position for installation of panel; a platform pivotally attached to the lift for movement of the platform between a generally horizontal position and an inclined position, the platform being sized and shaped to receive at least one panel.
9 . The system of claim 8 , the base comprising an extended portion configured for contact with the platform in the inclined position.
10 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the system has a reduced width when in the inclined position.
11 . The system of claim 8 , the means for movement of the platform comprising a scissor lift.
12 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the platform pivotally attaches to the lift at about the point of center of gravity of the platform.
13 . The system of claim 8 , the lift comprising a lower frame attached to the base and an upper frame pivotally attached to the platform, a pair of first arms and a pair of second arms moveably connected between the lower frame and the upper frame.
14 . The system of claim 13 , wherein each first arm pivotally attaches at one end to the lower frame and at the opposite end moveably engages the upper frame;
each second arm pivotally attaches at one end to the upper frame and at the opposite end moveably engages the lower frame; and each first arm pivotally attaches to a corresponding second arm at about a mid-point of each arm.
15 . A method of installing panels, comprising:
providing a base; providing a lift attached to the base for movement between a lowered position to a raised position for installation of articles; providing a platform pivotally attached to the lift for movement of the platform between a generally horizontal position and an inclined position, the platform being sized and shaped to receive at least one panel; moving the lift to the lowered position; moving the platform to the inclined position; loading a panel onto the platform; transporting the panel to the location of installation; moving the platform to the horizontal position; moving the lift to the raised position; and installing the panel.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
