Abstract
A network commerce system comprises a product sale listing searchable by a consumer and comprising one or more products provided by a third-party. A lead tracking module is operable to track consumer leads provided to the third-party vendor. A communications module enables the consumer and third-party vendor to communicate; and a feedback module enables at least one of the consumer and the third-party vendor to leave feedback regarding a lead tracked via the lead tracking module based on a handshake.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A system comprising:
a listing creation module configured to present a listing identifying one or more products or services offered by a third party vendor; a listing tracking module configured to track a state of a transaction between a consumer and the third party vendor; and a feedback module configured to enable, based on the state of the transaction, at least one of the consumer and the third party vendor to leave feedback regarding the transaction between the consumer and the third party vendor.
2 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
a listing presentation module configured to enable a consumer to browse the listing presented by the listing creation module; a lead tracking module configured to provide a consumer lead to the third party vendor regarding the listing identifying one or more products or services offered by the third party vendor; and a communication module configured to enable communication between the consumer and the third party vendor.
3 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the communication between the consumer and third party vendor comprises at least one of an e-mail message, a text message, a voice call, or a video call.
4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the listing tracking module is further configured to determine that a minimum level of communication between the third party vendor and the consumer is achieved.
5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the listing tracking module is further configured to determine that a payment has been made by the consumer to the third party vendor.
6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the listing tracking module is further configured to determine that the consumer and the third party vendor have reached an agreement regarding the terms of the transaction.
7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the listing tracking module is further configured to determine that the transaction has been completed.
8 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the feedback regarding the transaction includes information relating to an experience of the consumer.
9 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the feedback regarding the transaction includes information relating to an experience of the third party vendor.
10 . The system of claim 1 , wherein a portion of the transaction between the consumer and the third party vendor is conducted outside of the system.
11 . A method comprising:
presenting a listing identifying one or more products or services offered by a third party vendor; tracking a state of a transaction between a consumer and the third party vendor; and enabling, based on the state of the transaction, at least one of the consumer and the third party vendor to leave feedback regarding the transaction between the consumer and the third party vendor.
12 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising:
enabling a consumer to browse the listing presented by the listing creation module; providing a consumer lead to the third party vendor regarding the listing identifying one or more products or services offered by the third party vendor; and enabling communication between the consumer and the third party vendor.
13 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the communication between the consumer and the third party vendor comprises at least one of an e-mail message, a text message, a voice call, or a video call.
14 . The method of claim 11 , wherein tracking the state of the transaction includes determining that a minimum level of communication between the third party vendor and the consumer is achieved.
15 . The method of claim 11 , wherein tracking the state of the transaction includes determining that a payment has been made by the consumer to the third party vendor.
16 . The method of claim 11 , wherein tracking the state of the transaction includes determining that the consumer and the third party vendor have reached an agreement regarding the terms of the transaction.
17 . The method of claim 11 , wherein tracking the state of the transaction includes determining that the transaction has been completed.
18 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the feedback regarding the transaction includes information relating to an experience of the consumer.
19 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the feedback regarding the transaction includes information relating to an experience of the third party vendor.
20 . A non-transitory machine-readable medium storing instructions which, when executed by a machine, cause the machine to perform operations comprising:
presenting a listing identifying one or more products or services offered by a third party vendor; tracking a state of a transaction between a consumer and the third party vendor; and enabling, based on the state of the transaction, at least one of the consumer and the third party vendor to leave feedback regarding the transaction between the consumer and the third party vendor.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
