Claims

Abstract

An adjusting device includes a positioning member, a driving member attached to the positioning member and including an indicating block, a moveable member, and a resilient member. The moveable member is slidably attached to the positioning member and includes a receiving portion. The receiving portion includes a plurality of graduations. The indicating block extends through the positioning member and is received in the receiving portion. The resilient member is received in the receiving portion. The driving member drives the moveable member and the retaining member from a first position to a second position. If the moveable member and the retaining member are in the first position, the resilient member is uncompressed, the indicating block is away from a predetermined one of the plurality of graduations. If in the second position, the resilient member is compressed, and the indicating block is level with one of the predetermined graduations.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An adjusting device comprising:
 a positioning member;   a driving member attached to the positioning member and comprising an indicating block;   a moveable member slidably attached to the positioning member and comprising a receiving portion, the receiving portion comprising a plurality of graduations, the indicating block extending through the positioning member and being received in the receiving portion; and   a resilient member received in the receiving portion between the driving member and the moveable member,   wherein the driving member drives the moveable member and the retaining member away from the first wheel from a first position to a second position; if the moveable member and the retaining member are in the first position, the resilient member is in an original state, and the indicating block is away from a predetermined one of the plurality of graduations; if the moveable member and the retaining member are in the second position, the resilient member is deformed, and the indicating block is leveled with the predetermined graduation.   
     
     
         2 . The adjusting device of  claim 1 , wherein the receiving portion defines a positioning hole, and the resilient member is received in the positioning hole. 
     
     
         3 . The adjusting device of  claim 2 , wherein the receiving portion further defines a gap communicating with the positioning hole, the indicating block comprises an indicating portion, and the indicating portion is received in the positioning hole and extends through the gap. 
     
     
         4 . The adjusting device of  claim 2 , wherein the positioning member defines a threaded hole, the driving member comprises a driving post, and the driving post engages with the positioning hole through the threaded hole. 
     
     
         5 . The adjusting device of  claim 4 , wherein the driving member further comprises a head connected to the driving post, and a diameter of the head is greater than a diameter of the threaded hole. 
     
     
         6 . The adjusting device of  claim 4 , the positioning member further defines an accommodating slot communicating with the threaded hole, and the receiving portion is received in the accommodating slot. 
     
     
         7 . The adjusting device of  claim 6 , wherein the accommodating slot is curved. 
     
     
         8 . The adjusting device of  claim 1 , wherein the moveable member further comprises a main body, and the main body is adapted to abut a printing apparatus. 
     
     
         9 . The adjusting device of  claim 8 , the positioning member defines a receiving hole; and the moveable member further comprises a securing post extending from the main body, wherein the securing post is slidably received in the receiving hole. 
     
     
         10 . The adjusting device of  claim 1 , the positioning member comprises a clipping post, wherein the clipping post is adapted to engage with a printing apparatus, and the clipping post is removable from the printing apparatus when the moveable member and the retaining member are in the second position. 
     
     
         11 . An adjusting device comprising:
 a positioning member comprising a clipping post;   a driving member attached to the positioning member and comprising an indicating block;   a moveable member slidably attached to the positioning member and comprising a receiving portion, the receiving portion comprising a plurality of graduations, the indicating block extending through the positioning member and being received in the receiving portion; and   a resilient member received in the receiving portion between the driving member and the moveable member,   wherein the driving member drives the moveable member and the retaining member away from the first wheel from a first position to a second position; if the moveable member and the retaining member are in the first position, the resilient member is in an original state, and the indicating block is away from a predetermined one of the plurality of graduations; if the moveable member and the retaining member are in the second position, the resilient member is deformed, and the indicating block is leveled with the predetermined graduation; and the clipping post is adapted to engage with a printing apparatus, and the clipping post is removable from the printing apparatus when the moveable member and the retaining member are in the second position.   
     
     
         12 . The adjusting device of  claim 11 , wherein the receiving portion defines a positioning hole, and the resilient member is received in the positioning hole. 
     
     
         13 . The adjusting device of  claim 12 , wherein the receiving portion further defines a gap communicating with the positioning hole, the indicating block comprises an indicating portion, and the indicating portion is received in the positioning hole and extends through the gap. 
     
     
         14 . The adjusting device of  claim 12 , wherein the positioning member defines a threaded hole, the driving member comprises a driving post, and the driving post engages with the positioning hole through the threaded hole. 
     
     
         15 . The adjusting device of  claim 14 , wherein the driving member further comprises a head connected to the driving post, and a diameter of the head is greater than a diameter of the threaded hole. 
     
     
         16 . The adjusting device of  claim 14 , the positioning member further defines an accommodating slot communicating with the threaded hole, and the receiving portion is received in the accommodating slot. 
     
     
         17 . The adjusting device of  claim 16 , wherein the accommodating slot is curved. 
     
     
         18 . The adjusting device of  claim 11 , wherein the moveable member further comprises a main body, and the main body is adapted to abut the printing apparatus. 
     
     
         19 . The adjusting device of  claim 18 , the positioning member defines a receiving hole; and the moveable member further comprises a securing post extending from the main body, wherein the securing post is slidably received in the receiving hole.
