Flexible electronic product having a shape change characteristic and method thereof

Abstract

A flexible electronic product includes a flexible electronic assembled body and an actuator including a shape memory member. The actuator of the flexible electronic product deforms in response to an input. The flexible electronic assembled body includes a flexible display device, such as an organic light emitting diode (OLED), a plastic liquid crystal display (LCD), a plastic plasma display panel (PDP), an electronic ink panel, an organic thin film transistor (OTFT).

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A flexible electronic product, comprising:
 a flexible electronic assembled body; and   an actuator disposed along at least a portion of the flexible electronic assembled body to change a shape of the flexible electronic assembled body.   
     
     
         2 . The flexible electronic product of  claim 1 , wherein the actuator is disposed at an edge of the flexible electronic assembled body. 
     
     
         3 . The flexible electronic product of  claim 1 , wherein the flexible electronic assembled body comprises:
 a flexible power supply member;   a flexible display member; and   a flexible substrate disposed between the flexible display member and the flexible power supply member.   
     
     
         4 . The flexible electronic product of  claim 1 , wherein the flexible electronic assembled body comprises a flexible display member. 
     
     
         5 . The flexible electronic product of  claim 1 , wherein the actuator comprises a shape memory member. 
     
     
         6 . The flexible electronic product of  claim 1 , wherein the flexible electronic assembled body comprises partitioned areas. 
     
     
         7 . The flexible electronic product of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 an external input processor to recognize an external input and to generate a condition value corresponding to the external input;   a database processor to search a database for a shape information value corresponding to the generated condition value; and   a shape controller to control a change in shape of the actuator corresponding to the searched shape information value.   
     
     
         8 . The flexible electronic product of  claim 7 , wherein the condition value comprises one of a TV/desk condition, a screen size increase condition, an SMS/movie condition, a watch condition, a phone condition, a video conference condition, a light and sound condition, and a body temperature and heartbeat condition.
