Abstract

A two piece inflow dish assembly for installation in an enlarged manhole opening to prevent debris from entering the manhole to clog the sewer system and to permit the inflow dish assembly to be removed from the manhole in separate pieces.

I claim: 
     
         1 . An inflow dish to be mounted in a manhole below the manhole cover said dish being formed of material selected from polycarbonate and acrylic. 
     
     
         2 . An inflow dish assembly to be mounted in a manhole below the manhole cover; said dish assembly comprising;
 an outside dish dimensioned to span and to be mounted within said manhole;   said outside dish including a central opening; and   an insert dish removably mounted within and closing said central opening.   
     
     
         3 . The inflow dish as defined in  claim 2  and in which;
 said insert dish is dimensioned to fit within a standard size manhole opening. 
 
     
     
         4 . The inflow dish as defined in  claim 2  and in which;
 said outside dish is dimensioned to fit within an enlarged size manhole opening. 
 
     
     
         5 . The inflow dish assembly as defined in  claim 2  and in which said insert dish and said outside dish are formed of material selected from polycarbonate and acrylic.
