         2 . A method for mounting a railing to a post, the method comprising:
 providing a railing connector for mounting a railing to a post, the railing connector comprising a sleeve for receiving an end of the railing, and a flange extending from the sleeve for attachment to the post; and   positioning an end of the railing in the sleeve and securing the flange to the post.
