Electronic Communication Clarification System
Abstract
A computer implemented method and system is provided for clarifying electronic communication between an originator and a recipient. The originator declares characteristics of an originating message by specifying intent and linguistic type of communication using an application software provided on an originator communication device. The originator transmits the originating message to the recipient via a communication network. The application software on the recipient communication device recognizes the properties and declared characteristics for classification and categorization of the transmitted originating message. The application software determines requirement of a first response message as a reply to the transmitted originating message and generates response message templates that declare characteristics of the first response message based on the categorization. The recipient creates the first response message by selecting one of the response message templates and transmits the first response message to the originator. The communication loop continues until the electronic communication is declared complete.

1 . A computer implemented method of management of transmission and reception of electronic communication between a plurality of users, comprising:
providing an electronic communication management application executable on at least a processor; transmitting an electronic communication, wherein said electronic communication comprises:
a message content component;
a metadata component characterizing said message content, wherein said metadata comprising a plurality of predefined attributes of said message content;
receiving said transmitted electronic communication comprising said message content component, and said metadata component; categorizing said received electronic communication based on said metadata component; and generating a template based on said categorization of said received electronic communication for responding to said received electronic communication.
2 . The computer implemented method of claim 1 , wherein said metadata component comprises of intent of communication, linguistic type of communication of said originating message, status of communication, and mode of addressing.
3 . The computer implemented method of claim 2 , wherein said linguistic type of communication is a request linguistic type of communication and an offer linguistic type of communication.
4 . The computer implemented method of claim 1 , wherein said electronic communication comprises electronic mail communication, short message service communication, multimedia messaging service communication, and instant messaging communication.
5 . The computer implemented system for management of transmission and reception of electronic communication between a plurality of users, comprising:
a transmission component configured to transmit an electronic communication; a receiver component configured to receive an electronic communication; a categorization engine configured to categorize a received electronic communication based on a metadata component of said electronic communication; and a template generating component configured to generate a template based on said categorization of said received electronic communication for responding to said received electronic communication.
6 . The computer implemented method of claim 5 , wherein said metadata component comprises of intent of communication, linguistic type of communication of said originating message, status of communication, and mode of addressing.
7 . A computer program product for management of transmission and reception of electronic communication between a plurality of users embodied in a non-transitory computer readable storage medium and executable by at least a processor, comprising:
a transmission module for transmitting an electronic communication; a receiver module for receiving an electronic communication; a categorization module for categorizing a received electronic communication based on a metadata component of said electronic communication; and a template generating module for generating a template based on said categorization of said received electronic communication for responding to said received electronic communication.
