Abstract

A hair shaping device comprises a main unit having a gripper, a head having a rod-shaped heating unit, and a drive unit configured to rotate said heating unit around an axis of said heating unit. Said heating unit has a polygonal shape in cross-section when viewed from a direction of the axis.

 a main unit having a gripper;   a head having a rod-shaped heating unit; and   a drive unit configured to rotate said heating unit around an axis of said heating unit,   wherein said heating unit has a polygonal shape in cross-section when viewed from a direction of the axis.   
     
     
         2 . The hair shaping device as claimed in  claim 1 ,
 wherein said heating unit has a triangular shape in cross-section when viewed from the direction of the axis, each corner of the triangular shape being rounded off.
