Abstract

The waterproof/breathable moisture transfer liner for a running and hiking shoe includes an inner liner selected from technically advanced fabrics which are carefully selected. A series of layers are provided outside the inner liner including foam material layers, breathable membranes, a supportive mesh or a moldable foam, and an outer shell fabric. The applicability of the liner to alpine, snowboard boots, cross country, hiking boots, protective gear and helmets, along with appropriate variations for each application.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

. A thermal nonwoven material comprised of synthetic fibers topically treated to have phase change reversible enhanced thermal properties.

. A thermal nonwoven material according to claim 1 , wherein the nonwoven material is a embedded with a coating containing phase change material.

. A thermal nonwoven material according to claim 1 , wherein a surface of the nonwoven is treated with a dotted matrix containing phase change materials.

. A thermal nonwoven material according to claim 1 , wherein the nonwoven material contains natural fibers.

. A thermal nonwoven material according to claim 3 , wherein the nonwoven material contains natural fibers.

. A thermal nonwoven material according to claim 1 wherein the nonwoven material contains silver fibers.

. A thermal nonwoven material according to claim 1 , wherein the nonwoven material has hollow fibers.

. A thermal nonwoven material according to claim 3 , wherein the nonwoven material has hollow and/or shaped fibers.

. A thermal nonwoven material according to claim 8 , wherein the nonwoven material has silver fibers.

. A thermal nonwoven material according to claim 1 , wherein the nonwoven material is a blend of shaped, hollow fibers and split fibers.

. A thermal nonwoven material according to claim 1 , wherein the nonwoven contains split fibers.

. A thermal nonwoven material according to claim 11 , wherein the nonwoven contains split fibers and silver fibers.

. A nonwoven material comprised of randomly placed synthetic fibers treated to have phase change reversible enhanced thermal properties.

. A nonwoven material according to claim 13 , wherein the nonwoven material is a thermal nonwoven material.

. A nonwoven material according to claim 13 , wherein the nonwoven material is an apertured nonwoven material.

. A nonwoven material according to claim 13 , wherein the nonwoven material is a coated with a phase change material.

. A nonwoven material according to claim 13 , wherein the nonwoven material is a embedded with a phase change material.

. A nonwoven material according to claim 13 , wherein a surface of the nonwoven material is coated with a dotted matrix containing a phase change materials.

. A nonwoven material according to claim 17 , wherein the nonwoven material contains natural fibers.

. A nonwoven material according to claim 13 , wherein the nonwoven material contains natural fibers.

. A nonwoven material according to claim 16 , wherein the nonwoven material contains natural fibers.

. A nonwoven material according to claim 14 , wherein the nonwoven material has hollow fibers.

. A nonwoven material according to claim 13 , wherein the nonwoven material comprises hollow, split or shaped fibers.

. A nonwoven material according to claim 13 , wherein the nonwoven material comprises a blend of hollow, split and shaped fibers.

. A nonwoven material according to claim 23 , wherein the nonwoven material has natural fibers.

. A nonwoven material according to claim 24 , wherein the nonwoven material has natural fiber.
