Packing mat

Abstract

A packing mat has an outer layer sheet, an inner layer sheet, and beads. The outer layer sheet and the inner layer sheet are layered vertically and the peripheral edges are hermetically sealed. The beads are granular synthetic resin foamed bodies, and a large number of beads are filled between the outer layer sheet and the inner layer sheet. The outer layer sheet and the inner layer sheet become the mat having a fixed thickness by filling a layer of beads evenly. A check valve blocking a discharge of air during deaeration is attached to a surface of the outer layer sheet. The surface of the inner layer sheet is a surface to wrap the articles, and by folding the mat, the mat contacts with the articles from three directions, and by deaeration, the mat contracts and solidifies to support each article at three surfaces and hold at fixed positions.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A packing mat comprising:
 an outer layer sheet;   an inner layer sheet; and   beads,   wherein the outer layer sheet and the inner layer sheet are impervious sheets, and layered vertically and peripheral edges are hermetically sealed,   the beads are granular synthetic resin foamed bodies, and a large number of beads are filled between the outer layer sheet and the inner layer sheet to prevent unevenness,   the outer layer sheet and the inner layer sheet in which the peripheral edges are sealed become a mat having a fixed thickness with the beads filled evenly,   a check valve blocking a discharge of air during deaeration is attached to a part of a surface of the outer layer sheet, and by the deaeration, the beads gather and contact with each other and the mat contracts and solidifies,   the surface of the outer layer sheet is an outer surface of the mat adapted to not contact with articles, and   a surface of the inner layer sheet is a surface adapted to wrap the articles to be packed, and by folding the mat, portions of the mat contact with the articles to be packed from three directions, and by the deaeration of the inside of the mat, three surfaces of each article are supported and held at fixed positions.   
     
     
         2 . A packing mat according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a breathable bag between the outer layer sheet and the inner layer sheet of the mat,   wherein the bag is divided into several bag-shaped sections, and a predetermined equal amount of beads is filled in the respective sections to complete an external appearance of the mat to be flat.   
     
     
         3 . A packing mat according to  claim 2 , further comprising a shape retaining plate interposed between the outer layer sheet and the bag of the mat to retain a fixed form of the mat. 
     
     
         4 . A packing mat for wrapping articles to be packed comprising:
 an outer layer sheet and an inner layer sheet layered vertically and having peripheral edges hermetically sealed, said outer layer sheet and said inner layer sheet made of impervious material;   a check valve attached to the outer layer sheet for blocking a discharge of air during deaeration; and   beads formed from granular synthetic resin foamed bodies, and filled between the outer layer sheet and the inner layer sheet, wherein the mat having a fixed thickness is formed by evenly filling the beads between the outer layer sheet and the inner layer sheet,   a surface of the outer layer sheet is an outer surface of the mat adapted to not contact with the articles, and a surface of the inner layer sheet is a surface adapted to wrap the articles, and   by folding the mat, portions of the mat contact with the articles from three directions, and by deaeration of the mat, the beads gather and contact with each other, thereby the mat contracts and solidifies to support three surfaces of each article and hold at fixed positions.
