Paper sheet conveying roller
Abstract
A paper sheet conveying roller is constructed with a roller body ( 20 ) attached to an outer peripheral side of a support body ( 12 ). The roller body ( 20 ) is provided with a tubular section ( 21 ), which is arranged to form a cavity ( 19 ) between the support body ( 12 ) and the tubular section ( 21 ), and ring-shaped side walls ( 22, 22 ) that are interconnected, respectively, with both ends of the tubular section ( 21 ) in the axial direction thereof. Two annular grooves ( 13, 13 ) and first and second branched grooves ( 14 A, 14 B) branched out from the respective annular grooves ( 13, 13 ) are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the support body ( 12 ). Inner peripheral edges ( 25, 25 ) of the side walls ( 22, 22 ) are fitted in the annular grooves ( 13, 13 ). The inner peripheral edges ( 25, 25 ) are provided with first and second protrusions ( 26 A, 26 B) that protrude bilaterally in the axial direction. The protrusions ( 26 A, 26 B) are fitted in the branched grooves ( 14 A, 14 B).
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 .- 12 . (canceled)
13 . A conveying roller, comprising:
a support body which has first and second annular grooves formed at an outer peripheral surface and at which a shaft portion is arranged; and a roller body formed with a tubular section, which is arranged to form a cavity between the support body and the tubular section at an outer peripheral side of the support body, and first and second ring-shaped side walls that are interconnected, respectively, with both ends of the tubular section in the axial direction and have respective inner peripheral edges fitted in the first and second annular grooves, respectively; a protrusion being arranged on a circumferential part of an inner peripheral edge of at least one of the first and second side walls, and a recess fitted to the protrusion being provided in at least one of the first and second annular grooves; the protrusion protruding outward in the axial direction from the circumferential part of the inner peripheral edge; the recess being a branched groove, which branches out from at least one of the first and second annular grooves, and which extends outward in the axial direction on the outer peripheral surface of the support body, the recess extending to an end face of the support body in the axial direction of the support body and is opened to the end face.
14 . The paper sheet conveying roller according to claim 13 , wherein the protrusion protrudes bilaterally in the axial direction from the same circumferential position of the inner peripheral edge; and the branched groove branches out bilaterally in the axial direction from the same circumferential position of at least one of the first and second annular grooves.
15 . The paper sheet conveying roller according to claim 13 , wherein the inner peripheral edge is formed thick; and the protrusion protrudes in the axial direction from the thickly formed inner peripheral edge.
16 . The paper sheet conveying roller according to claim 13 , wherein knitted fabric placed on an inner peripheral surface or embedded internally is arranged in the roller body so as not to be exposed to the outer peripheral surface.
17 . The paper sheet conveying roller according to claim 13 , wherein an air vent hole allowing air to enter and be discharged from the cavity is configured in the roller body.
18 . The paper sheet conveying roller according to claim 13 , wherein a plurality of the protrusions is circumferentially arranged on an inner peripheral edge of at least one of the first and second side walls, and a plurality of the recesses is circumferentially arranged in at least one of the first and second grooves.
19 . The paper sheet conveying roller according to claim 18 , wherein a circumferential distance between the adjacent protrusions of at least one of the inner peripheral edges is shorter than a circumferential distance between the adjacent recesses of at least one of first and second grooves, so that the roller body is attached to the support body in a state in which the roller body is stretched in the circumferential direction.
20 . The paper sheet conveying roller according to claim 14 , wherein an end part of the branched groove that branches inward in the axial direction from at least one of the first and second annular grooves is closed off at a dead end face; and a top end part of the protrusion protruding inward in the axial direction from the inner peripheral edge makes intimate contact with the dead end face.
21 . The paper sheet conveying roller according to claim 14 , wherein at least one of the first and second annular grooves and the branched groove that is branched bilaterally in the axial direction form a cross shape.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
