Abstract
A system for producing military decoration racks, including a military related retail space, a storage unit that stores regulation data corresponding with military decoration rack regulations and instruction data. The system additionally includes a kiosk within the military related retail space and in electrical communication with the storage unit, the kiosk including a display unit, an input interface, and a communication unit. The system also includes a processing unit configured to execute the instruction data and a production facility in electronic communication with the kiosk configured to receive rack data from the kiosk and produce a military decoration rack based upon the received rack data. The instruction data includes an input module, an arrangement model, a display module, and a communication module.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A system for producing military decoration racks, comprising:
a military related retail space; a storage unit that stores:
regulation data corresponding with military decoration rack regulations; and
instruction data; and
a kiosk within the military related retail space and in data communication with the storage unit, the kiosk including:
a display unit;
an input interface; and
a processing unit configured to execute the instruction data;
wherein the instruction data includes:
an input module including processor executable instructions to receive user input from the input interface and to translate the user input into input data; and
an arrangement model including processor executable instructions to translate the input data into rack data that defines a military decoration rack that is arranged to conform to the regulation data.
2 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising a production facility in electronic communication with the kiosk and configured to:
receive rack data from the kiosk; and produce a military decoration rack based upon the received rack data.
3 . The system of claim 2 , wherein:
the kiosk includes a communication unit configured to receive data from the storage unit and to transmit data to the production facility; and the instruction data includes a communication module including processor executable instructions to communicate the rack data to the production facility.
4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the storage unit additionally stores decoration data that corresponds to compatible decorations.
5 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the arrangement module includes a search module including processor executable instructions to:
use the input data to select decoration data from the storage unit; and add the selected decoration data to the rack data.
6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the storage unit defines a hard drive physically connected to the kiosk.
7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the storage unit is configured to receive data updates wherein decoration data, regulation data, and instruction data may be added or removed without manual interaction with the kiosk.
8 . The system of claim 4 , wherein:
the storage unit is configured to store rack data; and the plurality of instruction modules includes a save module including processor executable instructions to store a user's rack data to the storage unit.
9 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the production facility is remote from the kiosk.
10 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the military related retail space is located on a military base.
11 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the communication unit is configured to transmit the rack data over a computer network.
12 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the computer network is the internet.
13 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the rack data corresponds to a rack that includes a ribbon or a medal.
14 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the input interface includes a keyboard.
15 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the input interface includes a pointing device.
16 . The system of claim 1 , wherein:
the display unit defines a touchscreen; and the input interface receives user input from the touchscreen.
17 . A kiosk for designing military decoration racks for placement within a military related retail space, the kiosk including:
an input interface configured to receive input data from a user; a processing unit programmed with instructions to:
receive the input data;
use the input data to generate rack data conforming with relevant military decoration rack regulations; and
use the rack data to generate rack display data;
a display unit defining a screen configured to:
receive rack display data from the processing unit; and
display a depiction of a military decoration rack based on the received rack data; and
a communication unit configured to communicate the rack data.
18 . The kiosk of claim 17 , wherein the communication unit is configured to communicate the rack data to a production facility.
19 . The kiosk of claim 18 , wherein the production facility is at a different location than the kiosk.
20 . A system for producing military decoration racks, comprising:
a military related retail space; a kiosk within the military related retail space, the kiosk including:
a display unit defining a screen;
an input interface;
a communication unit configured to transmit data;
a processing unit programmed with instructions to:
receive input data from the user input interface;
translate the input data into rack data that defines a military decoration rack arranged to conform with relevant military decoration rack regulations;
display a depiction of a military decoration rack on the screen corresponding to the rack data; and
transmit the rack data via the communication unit; and
a production unit in electronic communication with the kiosk configured to:
receive rack data from the communication unit; and
