Abstract

An assembly system for modular building units having a floor and a plurality of walls is provided. The assembly system includes a floor platform, a plurality of wall platforms, and a plurality of hinge assemblies. Each of the plurality of hinge assemblies may be rotatable to at least a first position and a second position when attached to the floor and the one of the plurality of walls. In the first position, the walls and the floor are generally parallel while in the second position the wall and the floor are generally perpendicular. Methods of use are also provided, in which, during use, the hinge assembly of the system may be rotated from the first position to the second position at least in part by moving the walls in an upwards direction relative to the floor.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A wagon for moving a structure off one or more pairs of platforms, wherein the distance between a pair of platforms is a platform distance, said wagon comprising:
a support surface extending along a horizontal first axis, said support surface having a support breadth horizontal and perpendicular to said first axis, said support breadth being less than said platform distance; a front axle and a rear axle supporting said support surface; said rear axle having a left rear wheel and a right rear wheel, said left rear wheel and said right rear wheel located within said support breadth; and said front axle having a left front wheel and a right front wheel, said left front wheel extending outside of said support breadth on a left end of said support breadth, and said right front wheel extending outside of said support breadth on a right end of said support breadth.

2 . The wagon of claim 1 , wherein said rear axle has a plurality of rear wheels.

3 . The wagon of claim 1 , wherein said front axle has a plurality of front wheels.

4 . The wagon of claim 1 , wherein said support surface comprises a first support extending along said first axis and a second support extending along said first axis parallel to said first support.

5 . The wagon of claim 4 , further comprising at least one bracing beam extending between said first support and said second support.

6 . The wagon of claim 5 , wherein said least one bracing beam extends at an oblique angle between said first support and said second support.

7 . A method for moving a structure off one or more pairs of platforms, wherein the distance between a pair of platforms is a platform distance, said method comprising:
placing a support surface of the wagon of claim 1 under said structure, said support breadth on a right end of said support breadth; lowering said structure onto said support surface; and rolling said support surface out from said platforms.
