Abstract

A puzzle toy including: a piece set containing a plurality of component pieces; and a main body for accommodating the piece set therein, wherein each of the plurality of component pieces has a rear surface on which a plurality of lattices is formed, and the main body includes: light-emitting devices, which are arranged to correspond to the respective lattices and emit light towards the lattices, and light-receiving devices for detecting light reflected from the lattices; a signal analyzer for determining colors of the lattices by signals detected by the light-receiving devices and generating output signals for the lattices; a feedback call unit for analyzing the output signals for the lattices, recognizing the lattice arrangement of the piece set, and determining the assembly success/failure of the piece set and a type of the piece set; and a feedback processing unit for outputting information regarding the assembled piece set.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified

a piece set containing a plurality of component pieces; and a main body for accommodating the piece set therein, wherein each of the plurality of component pieces has a rear surface on which a plurality of lattices is formed, and the main body comprises: light-emitting devices, which are arranged to correspond to the respective lattices and emit light towards the lattices, and light-receiving devices for detecting light reflected from the lattices; a signal analyzer for determining colors of the lattices by signals detected by the light-receiving devices and generating output signals for the lattices; a feedback call unit for analyzing the output signals for the lattices, which are received from the signal analyzer, recognizing the lattice arrangement of the piece set, and determining the assembly success/failure of the piece set and a type of the piece set upon the assembly success of the piece set; and a feedback processing unit for outputting information regarding the assembled piece set in response to a signal received from the feedback call unit.

2 . The puzzle toy of claim 1 , wherein each of the lattices is colored white or black.

3 . The puzzle toy of claim 2 , wherein the signal analyzer defines an output signal of each lattice as 0 when the lattice is white and defines an output signal of each lattice as 1 when the lattice is black.

4 . The puzzle toy of claim 1 , wherein the feedback processing unit outputs a video or audio signal.

5 . The puzzle toy of claim 1 , wherein each lattice is formed by attaching a sheet of paper or a film colored in a lattice pattern to the rear surface of a corresponding component piece.

         6 . A puzzle toy comprising:
a piece set containing a plurality of component pieces; and a main body for accommodating the piece set therein, wherein the piece set comprises a puzzle board, which is accommodated in the main body and has accommodation sections having a shape corresponding to an appearance of any one of the component pieces to accommodate the component piece, a plurality of lattices for identifying a type of the puzzle board are formed on the rear surface of the puzzle board, a plurality of lattices for detecting whether each component piece is assembled is formed on the rear surface of the component piece, and the main body comprises: light-emitting devices, which are arranged to correspond to the respective lattices and emit light towards the lattices, and light-receiving devices for detecting light reflected from the lattices; a signal analyzer for determining colors of the lattices by signals detected by the light-receiving devices and generating output signals for the lattices; a feedback call unit for analyzing signals detected from the puzzle board from among the output signals for the lattices, which are received from the signal analyzer, to determine a type of the piece set and recognizing a lattice arrangement detected from each component piece to call information regarding the component piece; and a feedback processing unit for outputting information regarding each component piece in response to a signal received from the feedback call unit.

         7 . A puzzle toy comprising:
a piece set containing a component piece; and a main body for accommodating the piece set therein, wherein the piece set is a flash card including one component piece, a plurality of lattices are formed on the rear surface of the flash card, and the main body comprises: light-emitting devices, which are arranged to correspond to the respective lattices and emit light towards the lattices, and light-receiving devices for detecting light reflected from the lattices; a signal analyzer for determining colors of the lattices by signals detected by the light-receiving devices and generating output signals for the lattices; a feedback call unit for analyzing the output signals for the lattices, which are received from the signal analyzer, recognizing an arrangement of the flash card, and determining a type of the flash card when the flash card is completely assembled with an accommodation section included in the main body; and a feedback processing unit for outputting information regarding the assembled flash card in response to a signal received from the feedback call unit.

8 . The puzzle toy of claim 1 , wherein the main body further comprises a language selection switch for selecting a language output from the feedback processing unit.
