According to some embodiments, an apparatus may deliver a medication that comprises a multi-dose syringe, a multi-dose medication storage unit coupled to the multi-dose syringe, and a trigger mechanism. The multi-dose medication storage is to comprise a plurality of pre-loaded doses of a medication where the medication is in powder form. Moreover, the trigger mechanism is to facilitate delivery of one or more of the plurality of doses of the medication from the multi-dose medication storage unit.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An apparatus to deliver a medication comprising:
a multi-dose syringe; a multi-dose medication storage unit coupled to the multi-dose syringe, the multi-dose medication storage comprising a plurality of pre-loaded doses of a medication; a trigger mechanism to facilitate delivery of one or more of the plurality of doses of the medication from the multi-dose medication storage unit; and
a first counting mechanism to count a number of delivered doses.

2 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the medication is in a power form.

3 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the first counting mechanism is to prevent the apparatus from functioning after a preset number of doses have been delivered.

4 . The apparatus of claim 3 , wherein the first counting mechanism is reset upon replacement of the multi-dose medication storage unit.

5 . The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising:
a second counting mechanism to count a number of multi-dose medication storage units associated with the apparatus.

6 . The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein the second counting mechanism is to prevent the apparatus from functioning after a preset number of multi-dose medication storage units have been associated with the apparatus.

7 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the trigger mechanism comprises an anti-reverse mechanism.

8 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the multi-dose syringe comprises a duck bill valve at a treatment end of the multi-dose syringe.

9 . The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising:
a visual indicator to determine a number of delivered doses.

10 . The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising:
a belt coupled to the trigger mechanism, wherein in a case that the trigger mechanism is engaged the belt is to advance and is to cause a dose of medication to be delivered from a ready position, and wherein in a case that the trigger is disengaged, the belt is to retreat causing a next dose of medication to be advanced into the ready position and is to cause a first counter to be advanced.

11 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the multi-dose medication storage unit comprises a plurality of multi-dose bullets, each bullet comprising a powder cylinder and a delivery plunger, and wherein each powder cylinder is to comprise the medication.

12 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the multi-dose medication storage unit comprises a flexible delivery plunger, a chamber that comprises the medication and an auger to feed the medication through the chamber.

13 . The apparatus of claim 12 , wherein the chamber comprises a first portion and a second portion, and wherein the second portion comprises a radius that is greater than a radius of the first portion.
