Abstract

An exercising machine includes a main frame, an upright post mounted on the main frame, two swinging handles pivotally connected with the upright post, a cycle movement mechanism mounted on the main frame, two pivot members mounted on the cycle movement mechanism, two links each pivotally connected with the respective swinging handle and the respective pivot member, two pedals mounted on the links, and two adjusting members each pivotally mounted between the respective link and the respective pivot member and each provided with a plurality of adjusting holes. Thus, each of the links is pivotally connected with one of the adjusting holes of the respective adjusting member to change the position and angle of each of the links and each of the swinging handles so as to adjust the movement trace of each of the links.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An exercising machine, comprising:
a main frame; an upright post mounted on a front portion of the main frame; two swinging handles each having an upper end pivotally connected with the upright post; a cycle movement mechanism mounted on a rear portion of the main frame; two pivot members mounted on two opposite sides of the cycle movement mechanism; two links each having a first end pivotally connected with a lower end of a respective one of the swinging handles and a second end pivotally connected with a respective one of the pivot members; two pedals each mounted on a respective one of the links; and two adjusting members each pivotally mounted between a respective one of the links and a respective one of the pivot members.

2 . The exercising machine of claim 1 , wherein each of the adjusting members has a first portion pivotally connected with the respective pivot member and a second portion pivotally connected with the second end of the respective link.

3 . The exercising machine of claim 2 , wherein the first portion of each of the adjusting members is provided with a mounting sleeve pivotally mounted on the respective pivot member.

4 . The exercising machine of claim 2 , wherein
the second portion of each of the adjusting members is provided with a plurality of adjusting holes; the second end of each of the links is provided with a pivot portion pivotally connected with one of the adjusting holes of the respective adjusting member.

5 . The exercising machine of claim 4 , wherein
each of the adjusting members has an interior provided with a receiving space; the pivot portion of each of the links is received in the receiving space of the respective adjusting member.

6 . The exercising machine of claim 1 , wherein each of the adjusting members has a substantially inverted U-shaped profile.

7 . The exercising machine of claim 1 , wherein each of the links is pivotally connected between a respective one of the swinging handles and a respective one of the adjusting members.

8 . The exercising machine of claim 1 , wherein
the pivot members misalign with each other and are located at different positions of the cycle movement mechanism; each of the pivot members is mounted on the cycle movement mechanism in an eccentric manner; the swinging handles are located at two opposite sides of the upright post.
