Abstract

For identifying an object and releasing a security of the object an identification element is associated with the object and recognized by recognizing unit, a securing element is attached to an object and releasable from the object, and the identification element and the securing element are formed so that a release of the securing element is possible only after the identification of the object by recognizing the identification element.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A system for identifying an object and releasing a security of the object, comprising a securing element formed as an electromagnetic lock attachable to an object to maintain its security and releasable to allow the object to be taken by a user; an identification element associated with the object; and an electronic recognizing element electronically identifying said identification element associated with the object, wherein said elements are formed so that said electronic recognizing element first electronically identifies said identification element associated with the object and also, upon the electronic identification of said identification element, electronically unlocks said electromagnetic lock and releases the object to allow the latter to be taken by the user.

2 . A system as defined in claim 1 , wherein said recognizing element is provided with a contact sensor, which touches said securing element and upon the touching, carries out the electronic identification of said identification element associated with the object by said recognizing element and thereafter carries out the electronic unlocking of said electronic lock of said securing element for releasing the object.

3 . A system as defined in claim 1 , wherein said identification element is located on the object.

4 . A system as defined in claim 1 wherein said identification element is located on said securing element.

5 . A system as defined in claim 1 , wherein said securing element is composed of two parts engageable with one another to hold the object and disengageable from one another to release the object, said identification element being located on one of said two parts of said securing element.

6 . A system as defined in claim 2 , wherein said securing element is composed of two parts engageable with one another to hold the object and disengageable from one another to release the object, said contact sensor touching one of said two parts of said securing element.

7 . A system as defined in claim 2 , further comprising a single control unit which, upon touching of said securing element by said contact sensor receives a signal from said contact sensor to activate a scanning element of said recognizing element to scan said identification element, and upon scanning of said identification element by said scanning element sends a signal to said electromagnetic lock of said securing element to release the object.
