Abstract
The present invention is a can handle device that is removably attached to a beverage can that includes a c-shaped ergonomic handle and a thumb support that prevents a user's thumb from sliding off the can handle device and serves as a support to a user's thumb to enhance grasping the can handle device. The device also includes a top clip disposed on the top end of the c-shaped handle that includes a perpendicular protruding edge perpendicular to the top end that accommodates and removably secures a top edge of the beverage can being attached to the can handle device and a bottom clip disposed on the c-shaped handle that includes a depressed perpendicular edge that recedes below the bottom end that accommodates and removably secures a bottom edge of the beverage can.

a c-shaped handle that includes a vertical portion with an internal facing and an external facing, a top end, a top portion and a bottom end; a thumb support disposed on said top portion of said vertical portion that prevents a said user's thumb from sliding off said can handle device and serves as a support to said user's thumb to enhance grasping said can handle device; a perpendicular protruding edge perpendicular to said top end that accommodates and removably secures a top edge of said beverage can being attached to said can handle device; and a bottom clip disposed on said bottom end of said c-shaped handle that accommodates and removably secures a bottom edge of said beverage can being attached to said can handle device that includes a depressed perpendicular edge that recedes below said bottom end.
2 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein said internal facing includes an advertising indicia.
3 . The device according to claim 2 , wherein said external facing includes said advertising indicia.
4 . The device according to claim 3 , wherein said internal facing and external facing simultaneously include said advertising indicia.
5 . The device according to claim 4 , wherein said advertising indicia is selected from the group consisting of a Jimmy Johnson indicia or a Dale Earnhardt indicia.
6 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein said perpendicular protruding edge is flexible to accommodate receiving and releasing said beverage can.
7 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein said bottom clip is flexible to accommodate receiving and releasing said beverage can.
8 . An aluminum can handle device that is removably attached to a beverage can, said aluminum can handle device is held by a user with a thumb, comprising:
a c-shaped ergonomic handle that includes a vertical portion with an internal facing and an external facing, a top end, a top portion and a bottom end; a thumb support disposed on said top portion of said vertical portion that prevents said user's thumb from sliding off said can handle device and serves as a support to said user's thumb to enhance grasping said can handle device; a perpendicular protruding edge perpendicular to said top end that accommodates and removably secures a top edge of said beverage can being attached to said can handle device; and a bottom clip disposed on said bottom end of said c-shaped handle that accommodates and removably secures a bottom edge of said beverage can being attached to said can handle device that includes a depressed perpendicular edge that recedes below said bottom end.
9 . The device according to claim 8 , wherein said internal facing includes a plurality of finger grips that are ergonomically designed to accommodate a user's plurality of fingers.
10 . The device according to claim 8 , wherein said external facing includes an advertising indicia.
11 . The device according to claim 10 , wherein said advertising indicia is selected from the group consisting of a Jimmy Johnson indicia or a Dale Earnhardt indicia.
12 . The device according to claim 8 , wherein said perpendicular protruding edge and said bottom clip are flexible to accommodate receiving and releasing said beverage can.
13 . The device according to claim 8 , wherein said device is approximately 5 inches tall and ¾ ths of an inch wide.
14 . A plastic can handle device that is removably attached to a beverage can, said plastic can handle device is held by a user with a thumb, comprising:
a c-shaped ergonomic handle that includes a vertical portion with an internal facing and an external facing, a top end, a top portion and a bottom end; a thumb support disposed on said top portion of said vertical portion that prevents said user's thumb from sliding off said can handle device and serves as a support to said user's thumb to enhance grasping said can handle device; a perpendicular protruding edge perpendicular to said top end that accommodates and removably secures a top edge of said beverage can being attached to said can handle device; and a bottom clip disposed on said bottom end of said c-shaped handle that accommodates and removably secures a bottom edge of said beverage can being attached to said can handle device that includes a depressed perpendicular edge that recedes below said bottom end.
15 . The device according to claim 14 , wherein said internal facing includes a plurality of finger grips that are ergonomically designed to accommodate a user's plurality of fingers.
16 . The device according to claim 14 , wherein said external facing includes an advertising indicia.
17 . The device according to claim 16 , wherein said advertising indicia is selected from the group consisting of a NASCAR indicia, a Jimmy Johnson indicia or a Dale Earnhardt indicia.
18 . The device according to claim 14 , wherein said perpendicular protruding edge is flexible to accommodate receiving and releasing said beverage can.
19 . The device according to claim 14 , wherein said bottom clip is flexible to accommodate receiving and releasing said beverage can.
