Garment with carrying pouch and support system

Abstract

A garment with carrying pouch and support system comprising, in general, a garment such as a tee shirt, a pouch integrated into the back of the garment having a downward opening, adjustable shoulder and waist straps affixed to the pouch to shift weight from the neck area to the shoulders and waist, a smooth liner covering the interior of the pouch to ease insertion of the device therein, and a stiffener to maintain the pouch in the shape of the device, and, thus such garment, functions as a hands-free, removeably secure device retention, storage and support system.

1 . An upper torso carrying apparatus for transport of a storage item comprising:
 a garment to be worn over the upper torso;   a pouch integrated to said garment;   at least one opening formed in said pouch, wherein said at least one opening is positioned approximate a bottom edge of said pouch and opens downward to enable access to said pouch from below; and   at least one closure system affixed to said opening, said at least one closure system utilized to open and close said opening;   one or more straps affixed to said pouch, said strap configured to distribute the weight of said pouch across the upper torso to prevent garment distortion and sagging.   
     
     
         2 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said pouch integrated to said garment is positioned on the back of the upper torso of said garment. 
     
     
         3 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said pouch integrated to said garment is reversible for the back or front of the upper torso of said garment. 
     
     
         4 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said pouch is configured to encompass the storage item. 
     
     
         5 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 1 , further comprising at least one pull tab positioned approximate one end of said at least one closure system, said at least one pull tab utilized to anchor said at least one closure system when opening and closing. 
     
     
         6 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 1 , further comprising at least one lever positioned approximate said at least one closure system utilized to operate said at least one closure system. 
     
     
         7 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said at least one closure system is positioned within said opening to further secure the storage item within said pouch. 
     
     
         8 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said one or more straps further comprises at least one shoulder strap positioned to traverse over the shoulder area of the upper torso, wherein said at least one shoulder strap utilized to support the weight of said pouch. 
     
     
         9 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said at least one shoulder strap traverses through an opening in said garment positioned approximate said at least one shoulder strap to position said at least one shoulder strap on the exterior of said garment. 
     
     
         10 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 8 , wherein said at least one shoulder strap configured to be adjustable. 
     
     
         11 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 10 , wherein said at least one shoulder strap further comprises an adjustment device to adjust the length of said at least one shoulder strap. 
     
     
         12 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said one or more straps further comprises at least one waist strap positioned to traverse around the waist area of the upper torso, wherein said at least one waist strap utilized to support the weight of said pouch. 
     
     
         13 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 8 , further comprises at least one waist strap positioned to traverse around the waist area of the upper torso, wherein said at least one waist strap and said at least one shoulder strap are sandwiched between an inner layer and an outer layer of said garment. 
     
     
         14 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 13 , wherein said an inner layer and an outer layer of said garment form at least one other opening of said inner layer and said outer layer configured to allow access and adjustment to said at least one waist strap and said at least one shoulder strap. 
     
     
         15 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 14 , wherein said at least one other opening of said inner layer and said outer layer further comprising a third closure system affixed to said opening, said third closure system utilized to open and close said opening. 
     
     
         16 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 12 , wherein said at least one waist strap further comprises second attachment system utilized to connect said at least one waist strap together, utilized to support the weight of said pouch about the waist of the upper torso. 
     
     
         17 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 12 , wherein said at least one waist strap traverses through an opening in said garment positioned approximate said at least one waist strap to position said at least one waist strap on the exterior of said garment. 
     
     
         18 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 12 , wherein said at least one waist strap configured to be adjustable. 
     
     
         19 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 12 , wherein said at least one waist strap further comprises an adjustment device to adjust the length of said at least one waist strap. 
     
     
         20 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 8 , wherein said one or more strap further comprises at least one waist strap positioned to traverse around the waist area of the upper torso, wherein said at least one waist strap and said at least one shoulder strap utilized to support the weight of said pouch. 
     
     
         21 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 20 , wherein said one or more straps further comprises a first attachment system to affix said at least one waist strap to said at least one shoulder strap to equally distribute said pouch across the upper torso to prevent garment distortion and sagging. 
     
     
         22 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said pouch further comprises at least one interior pouch configured to accommodate hands-free retention of storage item. 
     
     
         23 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 22 , wherein said at least one interior pouch is formed of a low friction material to enable storage item to facilitate quick insertion and removal of storage item from said pouch. 
     
     
         24 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said pouch further comprises at least one other interior pouch configured to accommodate a stiffener utilized to maintain said pouch in pre-determined form and facilitate quick insertion and removal of storage item from said pouch. 
     
     
         25 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 24 , wherein said at least one other interior pouch further comprises at least one other opening formed in said at least one other interior pouch, wherein said at least one other opening is positioned approximate said at least one opening. 
     
     
         26 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 25 , wherein said at least one other interior opening further comprises at least one other closure system affixed to said at least one other opening, said at least one other closure system utilized to open and close said at least one other opening. 
     
     
         27 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein said pouch further comprises a stiffener integrated therein, wherein said stiffener utilized to maintain said pouch in configuration of the storage item and facilitate quick insertion and removal of storage item from said pouch. 
     
     
         28 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 8 , at least one shoulder strap encircles the shoulder area of the upper torso and reconnects to said pouch utilized to support the weight of said pouch across the shoulders of the upper torso. 
     
     
         29 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 1 , further comprising a passageway positioned between said pouch and said garment utilized to connect an auxiliary device to the storage item in said pouch. 
     
     
         30 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 7 , further comprising at least one other opening of said inner layer and said outer layer further comprising a third closure system affixed to said opening, wherein said at least one closure system and said third closure system configured to enable two stage retention system. 
     
     
         31 . The carrying apparatus of  claim 23 , further comprising at least one other interior pouch configured to accommodate a stiffener utilized to maintain said pouch in pre- determined form, wherein said stiffener and said low friction material facilitate quick insertion and removal of storage item from said pouch. 
     
     
         32 . An upper torso carrying apparatus for transport of a storage item comprising:
 a garment to be worn over the upper torso;   a pouch integrated to said garment;   at least one opening formed in said pouch, wherein said at least one opening is positioned above a bottom edge of said pouch and opens downward to enable access to said pouch from below; and   at least one closure system affixed to said opening, said at least one closure system utilized to open and close said opening;   one or more straps affixed to said pouch, said strap configured to distribute the weight of said pouch across the upper torso to prevent the storage item from falling out of said pouch.
