Abstract

A game is shown that includes a deck of cards numbered 1 to 100. Also revealed is a method of playing the game by one or more players. All players are dealt 8 cards. One card is exposed. Utilizing two or more cards from the player's hand and the exposed card in a simple mathematical operation makes a play. The object of the game is to rid one's hand of all cards.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A method for playing a game, comprising: providing a deck of cards sequentially numbered from one to one hundred; shuffling said deck of cards and dealing to at least one player eight cards from the deck and exposing one additional card to be placed in a discard pile; placing all remaining cards in a draw pile and designating the player to the dealer's left as first player with play to continue in a clockwise direction wherein the method of play comprises one or the other of:
 a) a player who holds cards that can be used in a mathematical operation with the topmost card in the discard pile discards those cards, then discards an additional card: b) a player who does not hold cards that can be used in a mathematical operation with the topmost card in the discard pile draws two cards from the draw pile and now discards any cards which can be used in a mathematical operation with the topmost card in the discard pile, then discards an additional card.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the mathematical operation is addition.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the mathematical operation is subtraction.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the mathematical operation is multiplication.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the mathematical operation is division.

6 . The method of claim 1 wherein, if the draw pile is exhausted, all cards in the discard pile save the topmost are gathered and reshuffled to create a new draw pile.

7 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising ending the game when one player's hand has no cards remaining.
