Abstract

Mobile blasting cubicle ( 100 ) having two sides ( 204 ), a roof ( 112; 208 ) and a front cover ( 102 ), wherein the front cover has two openings ( 104 ) for the passage of human arms ( 202 ), and having a rear cover which can be opened, wherein the front cover can be displaced in the longitudinal direction towards the rear cover.

A mobile blasting cubicle comprising two sides, a roof, a front cover and a rear cover, wherein the front cover can be displaced in the longitudinal direction onto the rear cover, wherein the sides, the roof, the front cover and the rear cover form a workroom for containing a blasting device, wherein the front cover comprises two openings for human arms to reach through for manual operation of the blasting process, wherein the workroom can be opened via at least partial separation of the rear cover from at least one of the sides, wherein:
 the blasting cubicle comprises a floor made of watertight plastic film,   the two sides each consist of an air- and watertight plastic sheeting,   the roof consists of an air- and watertight plastic sheeting,   the front cover consists of a transparent, air- and watertight plastic sheeting, comprising two slits separated from one another for human arms to reach through, wherein the slits form the openings, and   the blasting cubicle comprises a rear cover consisting of an air- and watertight plastic sheeting,   wherein the sides and the rear cover can be fastened to the floor with straps and fastening clips,   wherein the rear cover can be connected with the two sides using a zip fastener on each side,   wherein the two sides and the rear cover can be attached to vertical supports,   wherein the roof can be supported by a folding frame, wherein the folding frame can be attached to the vertical supports,   wherein the front cover can be attached to a crossbar, wherein the crossbar can be attached to two longitudinal supports with a clip and can be displaced on the longitudinal supports in the longitudinal direction,   wherein openings are present between the floor and sides and between the floor and front and rear covers, for feeding through at least one hose for supplying blasting medium for a blasting process, and wherein there is a free space between the front cover and the roof

The mobile blasting cubicle according to  claim 1 , comprising a right and a left side tab on the front cover, wherein the right side tab covers an opening between the front cover and the right side, and the left side tab covers an opening between the front cover and the left side. 
     
     
         3 . The mobile blasting cubicle according to  claim 1 , wherein the rear cover can be removed, and right, left and upper side extensions can be arranged on the right and left sides and/or on a crossbar. 
     
     
         4 . The mobile blasting cubicle according to  claim 3 , wherein the side extensions comprise at least one magnet each. 
     
     
         5 . The mobile blasting cubicle according to  claim 4 , wherein the at least one magnet is in the form of a strip. 
     
     
         6 . The mobile blasting cubicle according to  claim 3 , wherein a tray is located between the side extensions. 
     
     
         7 . The mobile blasting cubicle according to  claim 1 , wherein a blasting table is located in the middle part of the blasting cubicle, wherein a tray is located beneath the blasting table. 
     
     
         8 . The mobile blasting cubicle according to  claim 6  wherein the tray is connected to a suction device via a hose. 
     
     
         9 . The mobile blasting cubicle according to  claim 2 , wherein the floor features an opening that can be closed. 
     
     
         10 . The mobile blasting cubicle according to  claim 2 , wherein the crossbar can be rotated and the front cover can be rolled up on the crossbar. 
     
     
         11 . The mobile blasting cubicle according to  claim 2 , wherein the vertical supports can be telescoped, folded or plugged together. 
     
     
         12 . The mobile blasting cubicle according to  claim 2 , wherein a lamp is located on the folding frame in the rear of the blasting cubicle. 
     
     
         13 . The mobile blasting cubicle according to  claim 12 , wherein the lamp comprises a plastic cover, and wherein the plastic cover is insulated from the electronics of the lamp. 
     
     
         14 . The mobile blasting cubicle according to  claim 1 , wherein the roof has a slope of between 1° and 15°. 
     
     
         15 . The mobile blasting cubicle according to  claim 1 , wherein the roof is white and at least one of the side pieces comprises at least one window. 
     
     
         16 . The mobile blasting cubicle according to  claim 2 , wherein the folding frame and/or the vertical supports consist of a metal. 
     
     
         17 . The mobile blasting cubicle according to  claim 2 , wherein the free space between the front cover and the roof is between 5 cm and 30 cm. 
     
     
         18 . The mobile blasting cubicle according to  claim 2 , wherein the roof further comprises upper overlapping sections that extend from the roof downwards and at least partially overlap the sides, the rear cover, and/or the front cover, and wherein the floor further comprises lower overlapping sections which extend from the floor upwards and overlap at least partially with the sides, the rear cover, and/or the front cover. 
     
     
         19 . A system comprising a mobile blasting cubicle according to  claim 1 , and a blasting process for blasting an object. 
     
     
         20 . A process for treating a surface with a blasting medium, said process comprising the following steps:
 assembling a blasting cubicle according to  claim 1 , wherein when the rear cover is closed, the blasting cubicle forms a workroom for blasting an object with the blasting medium;   opening the workroom through at least partial separation of the rear cover from at least one of the sides;   displacing the front cover in the longitudinal direction toward the opening;   positioning the opening on the surface to be blasted, wherein said surface is a surface of a movable or immovable object;   treating the surface with a blasting medium via a blasting device, wherein the blasting device is located within the workroom, and wherein the treatment of the surface is carried out by a person, wherein the front cover is located between the person and the blasting device.   
     
     
         21 . A process for treating a surface with a blasting medium, said process comprising the following steps:
 assembling a blasting cubicle according to  claim 1 , wherein the blasting cubicle comprises a lower opening;   slipping the blasting cubicle over an immovable object, such that a surface to be blasted is fed through the lower opening, wherein said surface is a surface of the immovable object;   treating the surface with a blasting medium via a blasting device, wherein the blasting device is located inside the blasting cubicle, and wherein the treatment of the surface is carried out by a person, wherein the front cover is located between the person and the blasting device.
