Abstract
A device for detecting an analyte in a sample is provided, which comprises: a collecting chamber containing an opening for collecting a liquid sample; a detecting element for detecting an analyte in the liquid sample; and a lid for covering the opening of the collecting chamber. The device further comprises an indicating device thereon to indicate whether or not the lid covers at an appointed position. The operation of the device is very simple.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A device for detecting an analyte in a sample, comprising:
a collecting chamber having an opening for collecting a liquid sample; a detecting element for detecting the analyte in the liquid sample; and a lid for covering the opening of the collecting chamber; wherein the device further comprises an indicating device thereon for indicating whether or not the lid covers at an appointed position.
2 . A device according to claim 1 , wherein the indicating device indicates that the lid has sealed the opening of the collecting chamber when the lid covers at the appointed positions.
3 . A device according to claim 1 , wherein, when the lid covers at the appointed position, the indicating device indicates that the time to be waited for reading the detecting result displayed on the detecting element is started to be counted.
4 . A device according to claim 1 , wherein the indicating device indicates by making a sound.
5 . A device according to claim 4 , wherein the indicating device makes a sound through colliding caused by elastic deformation and rebound.
6 . A device according to claim 5 , wherein the indicating device comprises an elastic element and a non-elastic element, and the elastic element is pressed by the non-elastic element to undergo elastic deformation and then rebound, therefore making a sound.
7 . A device according to claim 5 , wherein, when the elastic element passes by the non-elastic element, the elastic element is pressed by a protruding element positioned on the non-elastic element to undergo deformation and then rebound, therefore knocking the lid and making a sound.
8 . A device according to claim 7 , wherein the non-elastic element is positioned on the outer surface of the lid and the elastic element is positioned on the outer surface of the collecting chamber.
9 . A device according to claim 8 , wherein the elastic element moves synchronously with the collecting chamber in a counter-clockwise direction relative to lid, and the non-elastic element moves synchronously with the lid in a clockwise direction relative to the collecting chamber.
10 . A device according to claim 6 , wherein the non-elastic element is made of acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer, and the elastic element is made of polypropylene.
11 . A device according to claim 8 , wherein, the non-elastic element is positioned on a substrate sheet that can be elastically deformed.
12 . A device according to claim 11 , wherein both ends of the substrate sheet are connected with the lid edge, and the width of one end connecting the lid edge is larger than that of the other end connecting the lid edge.
13 . A device according to claim 12 , wherein the substrate sheet is rectangle, with a rectangle gap lying along the long side of the substrate sheet and separating the substrate sheet from the lid edge.
14 . A device according to claim 6 , wherein the non-elastic element contains a gradually heightened sliding surface, when the elastic element slides gradually from a low position to a high position of the sliding surface, the elastic element bends or twists away from the outer surface of the lid.
15 . A device according to claim 9 , wherein after the elastic element passes by the protruding element and knocks the lid, the elastic element is prevented by the protruding element from moving clockwisely relative to the lid.
16 . A device according to claim 9 , wherein after the elastic element passes by the protruding element and knocks the lid, the elastic element can still more clockwisely relative to the lid.
17 . A device according to claim 1 , wherein the lid closes the opening of the collecting chamber by means of rotation.
18 . A device according to claim 1 , wherein the sample is a urine or saliva sample.
19 . A method for detecting an analyte in a sample, comprising:
providing a detecting device, which comprises:
a collecting chamber with an opening,
a detecting element,
a lid rotating relative to the collecting chamber to seal the opening of the collecting chamber,
wherein the detecting device further comprises an indicating device for indicating whether or not the lid covers at the appointed position;
rotating the lid relative to the collecting chamber or rotating the collecting chamber relative to the lid until the indicating device sends an indication.
20 . A method according to claim 19 , wherein the rotation of the lid stops when the indicating device sends an indication.
21 . A method according to claim 19 , wherein, when the indicating device sends an indication, the time to be waited for reading the detecting result displayed on the detecting element is started to be counted.
22 . A method according to claim 19 , wherein the indicating device sends an indication by making a sound.
23 . A method according to claim 19 , wherein the indicating device comprises an elastic element protruding from the outer surface of the collecting chamber and a non-elastic element protruding from the outer surface of the lid edge, and, during the process of rotating the lid, the elastic element is pressed by the non-elastic element to undergo deformation and then rebound, therefore knocking the lid edge to make a sound.
24 . A method according to claim 19 , wherein the non-elastic element comprises a gradually heightened sliding surface, so that the elastic element first slides gradually from a low position to a high position on the sliding surface and then returns from the high position to the surface of the lid.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
