Abstract

A body temperature regulating garment apparatus that removes heat from blood flow then releases the heat to the atmosphere by evaporative cooling lowering the temperature of a body. Heat of the blood is absorbed by a moist superabsorbent material, that in turn is maintained at a temperature cooler than the blood by a removable and condition able thermal pack used to store temperature. The enclosure device used to store the superabsorbent material is formable around the thermal pack and around a separable clothing garment such as a scarf or a bandanna. The scarf or bandanna is used to secure the enclosure device to a body part where gathering forms the enclosure to the body part shape, maximizing contact with the area and secured with a gathering means. The clothing garment can be used for displaying advertising, brands or characters, making it more valuable to providers.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 ) An apparatus for regulating body temperature, comprising:
 a) An enclosure having a wall circumscribing a hollow space therein; b) An upper extension of the said enclosure with closure means c) A lower extension of the said enclosure with closure means d) a moisture absorbent contained in said hollow space e) a separable garment element around which upper and lower extensions are closed providing a means for shaping enclosure to a body part; f) a gathering device to securing said separable garment to body part and g) a means for maintaining a temperature differential between the said body part, the moisture absorbent and air temperature

2 ) An apparatus of claim 1 , wherein said enclosure is constructed of a breathable material to allow moisture to pass through said wall.

3 ) An apparatus of claim 2 , wherein said enclosure is conformable to a body part.

4 ) An apparatus of claim 2 , wherein said enclosure is attachable to said separable garment.

5 ) An apparatus of claim 4 wherein said enclosure is likewise attachable to said means for maintaining a temperature differential

6 ) An apparatus as recited in claim 1 , wherein said removable means for maintaining a temperature differential is a superabsorbent polymer of the hydrogel family, such as sodium polyacrylate, molecular formula (C 3 H 3 NaO 2 )n.

7 ) The apparatus as recited in claim 1 , wherein said removable means for maintaining a temperature differential is one of a type used for therapeutic cold or hot compresses, such as a starch-grafted sodium polyacrylate, to which water has been added to form a gel consistency.

8 ) An apparatus as recited in claim 1 , wherein said removable means for maintaining a temperature differential is an instant chemical reaction cold compress type comprising ammonium nitrate and water.

9 ) An apparatus as recited in claim 1 , wherein said separable garment is a scarf.

10 ) An apparatus as recited in claim 1 , wherein said separable garment is a shoelace.

11 ) An apparatus as recited in claim 1 , wherein said separable garment is a bandanna.

12 ) An apparatus as recited in claim 1 wherein said separable garment shapes the said enclosure to conform to a body part.

13 ) An apparatus as recited in claim 1 , wherein said separable garment contains a gathering mechanism to tighten said separable garment around said body part.

14 ) The apparatus as recited in claim 1 , wherein said separable garment contains space for displaying advertising when worn.

15 ) The apparatus as recited in claim 1 , wherein said enclosure is imprinted with advertising.

16 ) A temperature regulating garment apparatus for regulating body temperature with evaporative cooling and display of brand images or advertising, comprising
 a. a body cooling component for evaporative cooling of blood flow by temperature differential evaporation to air b. a moisture absorbent element for storing and slowly releasing moisture c. a thermal storage element for maintaining a temperature in said moisture absorbent d. a securing means to shape said body cooling component around a separable garment e. a said separable garment for securing body cooling component around a body part and the display of advertising and f. a gathering means to secure body cooling component and separable garment in place.
