Abstract

The object of the invention is a base structure for fixing a vertical post of a traffic sign, of a lamp or corresponding to a platform structure, such as to a lattice-type platform or to a concrete platform. The base structure comprises at least a fixing part to be position-wise adjustably fixed to the platform structure by the aid of a spherical adjustment part. The spherical adjustment part is at the bottom end of the fixing part, and the base structure comprises a locking means provided with a hole, which locking means when locking the fixing part into its position is placed by its hole on top of the spherical adjustment part of the fixing part.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . Base structure for fixing the vertical post of a traf-fic sign, of a luminaire or corresponding to a platform structure, such as to a lattice-type platform, a concrete platform or to some other corresponding platform, wherein the base structure comprises at least a fixing piece to be position-wise adjustably fixed to the platform by the aid of a spherical adjustment means.

2 . Base structure according to claim 1 , wherein the spherical adjustment means is at the bottom end of the fixing part, and in that the base structure comprises a locking means provided with a hole, which locking means when locking the fixing part into its position is placed by its hole on top of the spherical adjustment means of the fixing part.

3 . Base structure according to claim 1 or 2 , wherein the rim of the hole of the locking means is provided with essentially narrow-tipped and castellated protrusions extending towards the center point of the hole alternately with round-bottomed areas extending away from the center point of the hole.

4 . Base structure according to claim 1 or 2 , wherein the diameter of the hole of the locking means on the bottom surface of the locking means is greater than on the top surface of the collar extending to above the locking means, and in that the diameter of the hole of the locking means on the bottom surface of the locking means is smaller than the greatest diameter of the spherical adjustment means of the fixing part.

5 . Base structure according to claim 1 , wherein the base structure is provided with an auxiliary locking means placed below the spherical adjustment means of the fixing part, the rim of the center hole of which auxiliary locking means is provided with essentially narrow-tipped and castellated protrusions extending towards the center point of the hole alternately with round-bottomed areas extending away from the center point of the hole.

6 . Base structure according to claim 1 , wherein the spherical adjustment means of the fixing part is provided with a plurality of grooves passing around the surface of the adjustment means, which grooves are placed on the spherical surface of the adjustment means essentially densely and concentrically in relation to the vertical axis of the fixing part.

7 . Base structure according to claim 1 , wherein the protrusions of the center hole of the locking means are arranged to push into the grooves on the surface of the adjust-ment means when the fixing part is locked into its position.

8 . Base structure according to claim 1 , wherein the base structure is fitted to be placed by its adjustment means into one of the holes of the lattice-type platform, to be turned by its stem part essentially into its final vertical position and to be tightened into the aforementioned position against the top surface of the lattice-type platform by the aid of the locking means and the tightening means.

9 . Base structure according to claim 1 , wherein the second end of the tightening means is provided with a hook-shaped part for anchoring the tightening means to the bottom edge of the lattice-type platform.

10 . Base structure according to claim 1 , wherein the base structure is fitted to be placed by its adjustment means into a hole pro-vided with a bottom, which hole is on the top surface of a concrete platform or a corresponding to be turned by its stem part essentially into its final vertical position, and to be tightened into the aforemen-tioned position against the top surface of the lattice-type platform by the aid of the locking means and the tightening means.

11 . Base structure according to claim 1 , wherein the top end of the stem of the fixing part comprises a space for a vial for ensuring the vertical position of the stem.

12 . Base structure according to claim 1 , wherein the stem and the spherical adjustment part of the fixing part comprise a hole for the lead-in of an electrical wire or of some other wire-like means.

13 . Base structure according to claim 2 , wherein the base structure is provided with an auxiliary locking means placed below the spherical adjustment means of the fixing part, the rim of the center hole of which auxiliary locking means is provided with essentially narrow-tipped and castellated protrusions extending towards the center point of the hole alternately with round-bottomed areas extending away from the center point of the hole.

14 . Base structure according to claim 3 , wherein the base structure is provided with an auxiliary locking means placed below the spherical adjustment means of the fixing part, the rim of the center hole of which auxiliary locking means is provided with essentially narrow-tipped and castellated protrusions extending towards the center point of the hole alternately with round-bottomed areas extending away from the center point of the hole.
