Claims
Abstract
An installation tool for helical threaded insert includes a driving section, a series of driving shafts and a series of head tubes. When a user wants to rebuild a broken screw hole, the user can choose one driving shaft and head tube with suitable size for rebuilding the broken screw hole. Furthermore, a threaded hole of the head tube can adjust the size of the helical threaded insert for matching the broken screw hole so that the user can rebuild the screw hole easily.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An installation tool for helical threaded insert comprising:
a driving section having an internal tube and an external tube, the internal tube received in the external tube and being able to move in or out relative to the external tube; at least one driving shaft passing through an inner side of the external tube, the driving shaft detachably connected to the internal tube, the driving shaft having a driving end at one end for attaching to a helical threaded insert; and at least one head tube detachably connected to one end of the external tube, the driving end of the driving shaft being able to pass through the head tube, the head tube having a receiving space at one end for connecting to the driving end with the helical threaded insert, a threaded hole formed at another end of the head tube for adjusting the size of the helical threaded insert before the helical threaded insert being inserted into a screw hole; wherein the driving end is adjusted and received in the receiving space by moving the internal tube in or out relative to the external tube; the threaded hole is aimed at the screw hole for inserting the helical threaded insert into the screw hole after the helical threaded insert passes through the receiving space and the helical threaded insert is attached to the driving end, thereafter the internal tube is pushed and rotated to compress the helical threaded insert into the threaded hole such that the size of helical threaded insert is adjusted to match the size of the screw hole.
2 . The installation tool for helical threaded insert as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a lock ring is formed on the internal tube for limiting the movable distance of the internal tube in the external tube.
3 . The installation tool for helical threaded insert as claimed in claim 1 , wherein an L-shaped handle is disposed at one end of the internal tube, thereby a user can easily operate the L-shaped handle to insert the helical threaded insert.
4 . The installation tool for helical threaded insert as claimed in claim 2 , wherein an L-shaped handle is disposed at one end of the internal tube, thereby a user can easily operate the L-shaped handle to insert the helical threaded insert.

The installation tool for helical threaded insert as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a polygon recess is defined at another end of the internal tube for receiving the driving shaft, the driving shaft having a polygon section for connecting to the polygon recess of the internal tube, the internal tube having a magnetic portion formed on an inside wall of the polygon recess for connecting the internal tube to the driving shaft firmly.

The installation tool for helical threaded insert as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the diameters of the threaded hole decreases gradually toward the screw hole, thereby the helical threaded insert is easily inserted into the threaded hole and the size of the helical threaded insert is adjusted to match the size of the screw hole.

The installation tool for helical threaded insert as claimed in claim 1 , wherein an internal thread corresponding to the head tube is defined on the inside wall of the external tube for connecting the external tube to the head tube, an external thread formed after the receiving space of the head tube, the external thread engaged with the internal thread.
