Device and a method for un-reeling of wire from a coil

Abstract

Apparatus and methods for unreeling wire from a wire coil are disclosed including a wire stand around which the wire coil is arranged, a wire admission point to which the wire is fed from the wire coil and a bar flexibly mounted with respect to the wire stand so that the bar can be tilted with respect to the wire admission point so that loose wire drawn from the wire coil without having entered the wire admission point is prevented from becoming entangled by tilting of the bar.

         9 . Apparatus for unreeling wire from a wire coil comprising a wire stand having an axis around which said wire coil is arranged, a wire admission point to which said wire is to be fed from said wire coil, and a bar flexibly mounted with respect to said wire stand substantially in coaxial alignment with said axis of said wire stand, said bar having a free end which extends towards said wire admission point, whereby said bar may be tilted with respect to said wire admission point such that loose wire drawn from said wire coil but not having entered said wire admission point is prevented from becoming entangled by said tilting of said bar. 
     
     
         10 . The apparatus of  claim 9  wherein said bar is mounted with respect to said wire stand at a fixation point and wherein said bar includes a resilient portion at said fixation point. 
     
     
         11 . The apparatus of  claim 10  wherein said resilient portion comprises a spring. 
     
     
         12 . The apparatus of  claim 9  wherein said bar is flexible, such that said bar may be bent with respect to said wire admission point. 
     
     
         13 . The apparatus of  claim 9  wherein said free end of said bar, when untilted, is arranged at a distance of less than 10 cm from said wire admission point.

The apparatus of  claim 9  including a limiting rim coaxially arranged with respect to said wire stand, said limiting rim disposed between said wire coil and said wire admission point whereby said unreeled wire is arranged to be drawn outside said limiting rim to said wire admission point. 
     
     
         15 . A method for unreeling a wire from a wire coil comprising arranging said wire coil around a wire stand having an axis, feeding said wire from said wire coil to a wire admission point, flexibly mounting a bar having a free end extending towards said wire admission point with respect to said wire stand, and tilting said bar with respect to said admission point whereby as said wire is fed from said wire coil to said wire admission point loose wire drawn from said wire coil but not having entered said wire admission point is prevented from becoming entangled by said tilting of said bar. 
     
     
         16 . The method of  claim 15  including resiliently mounting said bar with respect to said wire stand at a fixation point. 
     
     
         17 . The method of  claim 16  wherein said bar is resiliently mounted by means of a spring. 
     
     
         18 . The method of  claim 15  including bending said bar with respect to said wire admission point. 
     
     
         19 . The method of  claim 15  including flexibly mounting said bar such that said free end of said bar is arranged at a distance of less than 10 cm from said wire admission point when said bar is untilted. 
     
     
         20 . The method of  claim 15  including arranging a limiting rim coaxially with respect to said wire stand between said wire coil and said wire admission point, and feeding said wire from said wire coil outside of said limiting rim towards said wire admission point.
