Abstract

A computerized method and a system for marketing program development are provided. In example embodiments, the method may include providing a user interface over a computer network such as the Internet, receiving from the user interface a marketing program proposal including program information. The method may also include facilitating a strategic review process of the marketing program proposal. The method may further include facilitating of a capacity review process of the marketing program.

1 . A computerized method for marketing program development, the method comprising:
 providing a user interface over a computer network;   receiving a marketing program proposal from the user interface;   facilitating a strategic review of the marketing program proposal; and   receiving a marketing program including a proposal for a project that is based on the marketing program.   
     
     
         2 . The computerized method of  claim 1  further including facilitating a capacity review process of the marketing program. 
     
     
         3 . The computerized method of  claim 1 , wherein facilitating the strategic review includes presenting the marketing program proposal to a reviewer for review, and receiving a review result. 
     
     
         4 . The computerized method of  claim 1 , wherein facilitating the strategic review includes receiving an approval of the marketing program proposal. 
     
     
         5 . The computerized method of  claim 2 , wherein facilitating the capacity review process includes determining whether the project proposal is approved. 
     
     
         6 . The computerized method of  claim 1 , further including facilitating management of the marketing program if the strategic review results in approval of the marketing program proposal. 
     
     
         7 . The computerized method of  claim 6 , wherein facilitating the management of the marketing program includes developing high-level detail involved in the marketing program. 
     
     
         8 . The computerized method of  claim 6 , further including facilitating management of the project. 
     
     
         9 . The computerized method of  claim 8  further including facilitating management of a tactical detail of the project including at least one of the group consisting of resources and timelines. 
     
     
         10 . The computerized method of  claim 8 , wherein facilitating management of the project includes tying strategies to tactics including monitoring Return On Investment (ROI). 
     
     
         11 . The computerized method of  claim 8 , wherein facilitating the management of the project includes producing a creative deliverable and trafficking the creative deliverable through a delivery mechanism. 
     
     
         12 . The computerized method of  claim 11 , wherein the delivery mechanism includes at least one of the group consisting of an e-mail delivery, a Web site development, and a publishing house. 
     
     
         13 . A machine-readable storage device having embedded therein a set of instructions which, when executed by a machine, causes execution of the following operations:
 providing a user interface over a computer network;   receiving a marketing program proposal from the user interface;   facilitating a strategic review of the marketing program proposal; and   receiving a marketing program including a proposal for a project that is based on the marketing program.   
     
     
         14 . The machine-readable storage device of  claim 13  further including facilitating a capacity review process of the marketing program. 
     
     
         15 . The machine-readable storage device of  claim 13 , wherein facilitating the strategic review includes presenting the marketing program proposal to a reviewer for review and receiving a review result. 
     
     
         16 . The machine-readable storage device of  claim 13 , wherein facilitating the strategic review includes receiving an approval of the marketing program proposal. 
     
     
         17 . The machine-readable storage device of  claim 14 , wherein facilitating the capacity review process includes determining whether the project proposal is approved.

         25 . A system for marketing program development comprising:
 a computer processor and storage configured to store and execute:   a management application to provide a user interface over a computerized network;   a request module to receive from the user interface a marketing program proposal including program information;   a strategic review module to facilitate a strategic review process of the marketing program proposal;   a project definition module to receive a marketing program based on the marketing program proposal, the receipt of the marketing program includes receipt of a project proposal for a project that is based on the marketing program;   a capacity review module to facilitate a capacity review process of the marketing program;   a management module to facilitate a management of the marketing program includes producing a creative deliverable; and   a delivery module for trafficking the creative deliverable through a delivery mechanism.   
     
     
         26 . A machine-readable storage device comprising instructions which, when implemented by one or more processors, perform the following operations:
 providing a user interface over a computer network;   receiving a marketing program proposal from the user interface;   presenting the marketing program proposal to a first reviewer;   receiving an approval of the marketing program proposal from the first reviewer;   receiving a marketing program based on the marketing program proposal including a project proposal for a project based on the marketing program;   presenting the marketing program to a second reviewer for a capacity review of the marketing program;   receiving feedback from the second reviewer, the feedback being used to finalize the marketing program; and   recording an assigning of resources to the finalized marketing program.   
     
     
         27 . The machine-readable storage device of  claim 26  further including receiving reports related to the finalized marketing program.
