Storage Device

Abstract

According to certain embodiments of the present disclosure, storage devices are disclosed having an anterior, posterior, caudal, and cephalic portion, with the storage device comprising; a first armature having two elongated, substantially rigid beams with a portion of fabric stretched therebetween, with the portion of fabric having at least one pocket disposed thereupon, opening cephalically, and extending anteriorly therefrom, a second armature having at least one elongated rigid beam extending caudally from a hinged connection to the cephalic portion of the first armature.

1 . A storage device having an anterior, posterior, caudal, and cephalic portion, with the storage device comprising;
 a first armature having two elongated, substantially rigid beams with a portion of fabric stretched therebetween, with the portion of fabric having at least one pocket disposed thereupon, opening cephalically, and extending anteriorly therefrom, a second armature having at least one elongated rigid beam extending caudally from a hinged connection to the cephalic portion of the first armature.   
     
     
         2 . The storage device of  claim 1 , wherein there is an elongated horizontal member coupled to the cephalic portion of the storage device sized and shaped to be gripped by the hand of a user, thereby defining a handle. 
     
     
         3 . The storage device of  claim 2 , wherein the handle is rigidly coupled to the first armature. 
     
     
         4 . The storage device of  claim 2 , wherein the handle is rigidly coupled to the second armature. 
     
     
         5 . The storage device of  claim 1 , wherein the second armature comprises two, laterally disposed vertical members, thereby defining folding legs. 
     
     
         6 . The storage device of  claim 1 , wherein there is a hook disposed near the cephalic portion of the storage device with the hook opening caudally. 
     
     
         7 . The storage device of  claim 6 , wherein there are two, laterally disposed hooks. 
     
     
         8 . The storage device of  claim 1 , wherein there are a plurality of pockets disposed upon the portion of fabric. 
     
     
         9 . The storage device of  claim 1 , wherein the pockets are shaped with pleats on the sides thereof 
     
     
         10 . The storage device of  claim 1 , wherein the pocket traverses a substantial portion of the width of the first armature. 
     
     
         11 . The storage device of  claim 1 , wherein there is a biasing member disposed at the coupling of the first and second armatures urging the armatures together. 
     
     
         12 . The storage device of  claim 1 , wherein there is a biasing member disposed at the coupling of the first and second armatures urging the armatures apart. 
     
     
         13 . The storage device of  claim 1 , wherein the storage device may be fixed in an open position with the first and second armatures at their maximum distance from one another by a mechanism selected from a rigid bar coupled to a side of one of the armatures that may be engaged about the pin of the other armature, a folding bar coupling corresponding portions of the first and second armatures that is hingedly coupled to both and hingedly broken at the midpoint thereof, a portion of chain or wire coupled to corresponding portions of the first and second armature, a mechanical stop disposed at the coupling of the first and second armatures that does not allow them to separate by more than a given number of degrees Theta with theta being in the range of 15 to 45 degrees. 
     
     
         14 . The storage device of  claim 1 , wherein the storage device may be fixed in an closed position with the first and second armatures at their minimum distance from one another by a mechanism selected from a rigid bar coupled to a side of one of the armatures that may be engaged about the pin of the other armature, a folding bar coupling corresponding portions of the first and second armatures that is hingedly coupled to both and hingedly broken at the midpoint thereof, a portion of chain or wire coupled to corresponding portions of the first and second armature, a mechanical stop disposed at the coupling of the first and second armatures that does not allow them to separate by more than a given number of degrees Theta, complementary magnetic and ferrous materials disposed in the first and second armatures. 
     
     
         15 . The storage device of  claim 1 , wherein the handle extends anteriorly from the remainder of the storage device. 
     
     
         16 . The storage device of  claim 14  wherein the hinged coupling of the first and second armatures is disposed posteriorly from the plane defined by the beams of the first armature. 
     
     
         17 . The storage device of  claim 6 , wherein there is a horizontal armature extending posteriorly from the caudal end portion of the storage device thereby defining a wall standoff for when the device is hung by the hook. 
     
     
         18 . A storage device having an anterior, posterior, caudal, and cephalic portion, with the storage device comprising;
 a first armature having two elongated, substantially rigid beams with a portion of fabric stretched therebetween, with the portion of fabric having at least one pocket disposed thereupon, opening cephalically, and extending anteriorly therefrom,   a second armature having at least one elongated rigid beam extending caudally from a hinged connection to the cephalic portion of the first armature wherein the second armature comprises two, laterally disposed vertical members, thereby defining folding legs.   
     
     
         19 . A storage device having an anterior, posterior, caudal, and cephalic portion, with the storage device comprising;
 a first armature having two elongated, substantially rigid beams with a portion of fabric stretched therebetween, with the portion of fabric having at least one pocket disposed thereupon, opening cephalically, and extending anteriorly therefrom,   a second armature having at least one elongated rigid beam extending caudally from a hinged connection to the cephalic portion of the first armature wherein the second armature comprises two, laterally disposed vertical members, thereby defining folding legs wherein there are two hooks disposed upon the distal, cephalic portion of the second armature.
