Abstract

A paper transmitting apparatus for a printer, comprises a bracket comprising a paper tray mounted thereon, the paper tray is adapted to receive a piece of paper in the paper tray; and a driving mechanism comprising a roller rotatablely mounted on the driving mechanism, a sleeve fitted around the roller, a plurality of grains located on an outer surface of the sleeve to increase a surface roughness of the outer surface of the sleeve, the outer surface of the sleeve rests on the piece of paper, and the driving mechanism is adapted to rotate the roller to move the piece of paper on the paper tray.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A paper transmitting apparatus for a printer, comprising:
a bracket comprising a paper tray mounted thereon, the paper tray is adapted to receive a piece of paper in the paper tray; and a driving mechanism comprising a roller rotatablely mounted on the driving mechanism, a sleeve fitted around the roller, a plurality of grains located on an outer surface of the sleeve to increase a surface roughness of the outer surface of the sleeve, the outer surface of the sleeve rests on the piece of paper, and the driving mechanism is adapted to rotate the roller to move the piece of paper on the paper tray.

2 . The paper transmitting apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of grains are symmetric about a central line of the sleeve.

3 . The paper transmitting apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the driving mechanism is adapted to move between a first position and a second position; in the first position, the roller is located above the paper tray and does not contact the paper tray; and in the second position, the outer surface of the sleeve rests on the piece of paper or the paper tray.

4 . The paper transmitting apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the bracket comprises a first board, and a second board approximately perpendicular to the first board, the second board defines an opening, the opening is aligned with the paper tray, and the opening is adapted to allow the piece of paper to pass through the opening when the piece of paper is moved on the paper tray.

5 . The paper transmitting apparatus of claim 4 , wherein the paper tray is mounted on the first board.

6 . The paper transmitting apparatus of claim 1 , wherein a plurality of gears are linked with the roller, and the plurality of gears rotate to rotate the roller.

7 . A paper transmitting apparatus for a printer, comprising:
a bracket comprising a first board, and a second board approximately perpendicular to the first board, a paper tray mounted on the first board, the second board defining an opening which is aligned with the paper tray, the paper tray is adapted to receive a piece of paper in the paper tray; and a driving mechanism, the driving mechanism comprises a roller with a sleeve fitted around the roller, a plurality of grains located on an outer surface of the sleeve to increase a surface roughness of the outer surface of the sleeve, the outer surface of the sleeve rests on the piece of paper, and the driving mechanism is adapted to rotate the roller to move the piece of paper through the opening.

8 . The paper transmitting apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the plurality of grains are symmetric to a central line of the sleeve.

9 . The paper transmitting apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the roller is rotatablely mounted on the driving mechanism, the driving mechanism is adapted to move between a first position and a second position; wherein in the first position, the roller is located above the paper tray and does not contact the paper tray; and in the second position, the outer surface of the sleeve rests on the piece of paper or the paper tray.

10 . The paper transmitting apparatus of claim 7 , wherein a plurality of gears are linked with the roller, and the plurality of gears rotate to rotate the roller.
