Abstract
An antifreeze pump system for an oil or natural gas well includes an antifreeze pump with an inlet port for compressed natural gas which is used to drive the pump to pump antifreeze. A natural gas reclaimer receives natural gas from the antifreeze pump and includes a conditioner to remove contaminants from the natural gas from the antifreeze pump so the gas can be reused. A fluid containment reservoir is associated with the natural gas reclaimer and positioned to receive leaking fluids from the antifreeze pump.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A natural gas reclaimer and antifreeze containment system for an oil or natural gas well;
comprising: a) a base plate; b) a perimeter wall extending upward from the base plate and forming reservoir with the base plate; c) a top plate coupled to an upper portion of the perimeter wall and having a plurality of apertures therethrough; d) a mounting bracket disposed above the top plate; and e) an antifreeze pump disposed on the mounting bracket such that fluid from the antifreeze pump is contained in the reservoir.
2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the perimeter wall is formed of a pressure vessel and forms a natural gas vessel for receiving pressurized natural gas from an exhaust in the antifreeze pump; and
wherein the vessel further includes a conditioner to remove contaminants from the natural gas moving through the vessel from the inlet port to the outlet port prior to releasing the natural gas from the conditioner for subsequent use.
3 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising a conditioner associated with a pressure vessel that forms the perimeter wall with the conditioner having a baffle partially blocking a portion of the pressure vessel to form a circuitous path for natural gas in the vessel to travel to remove contaminants from the natural gas.
4 . An antifreeze pump system for an oil or natural gas well; comprising:
a) an antifreeze pump, including:
i) an inlet port for receiving compressed natural gas from the well;
ii) an outlet port for releasing compressed natural gas from the pump; and
b) a natural gas reclaimer, including:
i) an inlet port for receiving compressed natural gas from the outlet port of the antifreeze pump;
ii) a conditioner fluidly coupled to the inlet port of the reclaimer to remove contaminants from the natural gas received by the inlet port; and
c) a fluid containment reservoir associated with the natural gas reclaimer and positioned to receive leaking fluids from the antifreeze pump.
5 . The system of claim 4 , wherein the natural gas reclaimer further includes a pressure vessel and an outlet port; and
wherein the conditioner includes a baffle partially blocking a portion of the pressure vessel to form a circuitous path for natural gas in the vessel to travel as the natural gas moves in the pressure vessel from the inlet port to the outlet port.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
