Abstract

The lighting device includes: a heat radiating part provided with a cavity that accommodates a part of a plurality of drive circuit components driving a light source module; and a base part provided with a cavity that accommodates another part (e.g., a transistor) of the drive circuit components. Then, the drive circuit components are accommodated in the cavity of the heat radiating part and the cavity of the base part.

1 . A lighting device, comprising:
 an LED;   a drive section for driving the LED;   an accommodating part accommodating the drive section;   a heat radiating part radiating heat generated from the LED and/or the drive section;   a base part to be connected to an external power supply, the base part being electrically connected to the drive section; and   an insulating part which is located between the base part and the heat radiating part and is inserted into the base part,   wherein the insulating part is provided with a heat radiating part holding cylinder whose end portion is open and a base part holding cylinder holding the base part, the heat radiating part holding cylinder and the base part holding cylinder are formed in one body with a linkage part, and the heat radiating part holding cylinder is inserted into a cavity of the heat radiating part, and   the accommodation part is formed by at least a part of the heat radiating part and the insulating part.   
     
     
         2 . The lighting device according to  claim 1 , wherein the heat radiating part is provided with a heat radiation plate on which the LED is mounted, and
 the accommodating part extends to a position close to the heat radiation plate.   
     
     
         3 . The lighting device according to  claim 2 , wherein the heat radiating plate is provided with a through hole through which a lead wire electrically connecting the LED to the drive section runs. 
     
     
         4 . The lighting device according to  claim 1 , wherein the base part holding cylinder is inserted into a cavity of the base part, and
 the cavity of the base part is communicated with the cavity of the heat radiating part.   
     
     
         5 . The lighting device according to  claim 1 , wherein the drive section is provided with a plurality of circuit components, and
 a part of the plurality of circuit components is accommodated in the cavity of the heat radiating part and another part of the plurality of circuit components is accommodated in a cavity of the base part.   
     
     
         6 . The lighting device according to  claim 5 , wherein a part of the plurality of circuit components is connected to a circuit board through a lead wire, and is arranged in the cavity of the base part at a distance from the circuit board. 
     
     
         7 . The lighting device according to  claim 6 , wherein the circuit board has a width greater than an inner diameter of the base part holding cylinder and smaller than an inner diameter of the heat radiating part holding cylinder, and a length permitting accommodation into the insulating part. 
     
     
         8 . The lighting device according to  claim 1 , wherein the lighting device is a bulb-type LED lighting device.
