Abstract

Harnessing Panel that locate and holds plural sections of pipes, and pipe outlets, for a plumbing fixture sink outlet. The panel supports the pipes from two different angles and directions, Typically a ninety-degree angle from the inner part of the panel in a rough-in wall to the outer part of the panel facing the finished wall. The front side has a pre set locating holes for water and drain outlets, locating the pipe outlets securely in a precise desired location for installation. Building installation “Standard” of eight inch to the center of drain, or optionally four inch to the center of drain. The panel has mounting support holes to mount clamp brackets, or alternatively elongated slots for a strut or a like pipe brackets to accommodate different types of pipes and sizes. The front side has extended sections from each side of its body to support the device to a structure. Typically to a standard frame of a stud wall the panel is mounted on to a frame wall of a building “standard” distance of sixteen inch to center between studs. The said extensions are adaptable for installation to the front face of a stud, or optionally adaptable to bend to a ninety degree for inner wall mounting.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A flat panel made out of sheet metal, or other material adapted for this application, that mount on to a structure, between studs in a stud wall, for the purpose of harnessing, supporting and locating plural sections of pipes joint together, or pre fabricated plural sections of plumbing pipes, for a sink outlet, comprising of water drain and vent pipes, for a rough-in installation application. The harnessing panel has a series of round shape holes in various sizes for different functions. The primary functions of this invention are:
 1. To provide a pre set measured tablet panel, for plumbing building “standard” measurements of installation of a plumbing sink fixture outlet, placing and locating the outlets precisely at the said standard placements of 4″ or 8″ apart from the center of the drain with various placements and height distances. 2. To secure precise installation of a sink outlet pipes, enabling the utilization of pre fabricated joint sections of pipes, and support these pipes and pipe outlets independently on the panel. 3. To support the said pipes on the said panel, from two opposing angles, by utilizing the surface of the said panel from one supporting side and angle of the pipe, and the body of the said panel to support the opposing ninety degree angled said pipe outlet, to achieve a secure and accurate plumbed installation, independently on the said panel. 4. Mobility and rapid installation. The said panel, independently place and supports a complete prefabricated plumbing pipes and pipe outlets for a sink outlet. This allows for a rapid installation of a said sink outlet on location, enables assembling of the said pipes on the said panel in a different location and environment such as an assembly line. The said panel has a series of holes designed to mount bracket clamps on to the flat inner side of the panel to locate and support water, drain and vent pipes on it. These holes are slightly indented inwards to the panel, to allow the placement of screws, or bolts, from the outer face of the panel supporting the pipe bracket clamp, and providing a flat surface of the outer face of the panel, that is covered by the finish wall, after installation is completed. The clamps are optionally installed on the panel in various pre set positions to support horizontal or vertical pipes on the panel. The panel has a center hole to accommodate a drain outlet, the rim of this hole is slightly indented inwards to the panel to house a rubber grommet to insulate and support the pipe outlet, providing a flat surface facing the outer wall. The panel has a series of six holes to accommodate the water pipe outlets typically for copper pipe or other material, for hot and cold outlets, these holes are pre fabricated to be at precise location for standard installation of 4″ or 8″ to center between the outlets, with equal distance from the center drain outlet, in various locations of height from the center of the drain outlet. The said holes for the water outlet has a rim that is slightly indented inwards to the panel to accommodate a rubber grommet precisely locating the pipe outlet to the panel and insulating the pipe outlet from the panel, and providing a flat surface of the outer face of the panel covered by the wall, or other structure. The panel has a series of holes on its sides for mounting it on to a structure by placing screws throw it placing it to a stud wall. The pre fabricated pipes are supported by the clamps in the inner side of the panel, facing the inside of the wall at the vertical or the horizontal sections and the outlet section of the pipe is supported by the parameter of the designated holes in the panel body, at the opposing ninety degree angle of the said pipe facing the outer wall, securing it from two opposing angles. The said panel holds support and positions to the said pipes from two opposing directions to provide secure and accurate placement of the pipes outlets for the installation process and finishing product. The said pipes are supported to the body of the panel by pipe bracket clamps attached to the panel, or alternatively by strut brackets that are placed through the panel by designated elongated slots at the body of the panel to anchor the strut brackets.
