Abstract
An evaporative cooling system to cool the attic space only, in communication with the duct system. The cooling system includes a humidistat and thermostat. To control the evaporative cooling unit, according to the threshold temperature in the attic. Unit will have a smoke detector for safety, once activated will deactivate the evaporative cooling unit. Also, each fan switch will have a high temperature safety device, in the event of a fire or excessive heat in attic area, which will deactivate the cooling unit.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A cooling system for cooling a structure with a roof and an attic, comprising:
a) an evaporative cooler ( 100 ) positioned on top of the roof and in fluid communication with the air in the attic sufficient to expel cooled air into the attic; and b) a sensor module, electrically coupled to the evaporative cooler, and having:
i) a humidity sensor ( 203 ) located within a sensor module; and
ii) a smoke detector ( 202 ) sensors that will shut off the cooling system during detection of smoke thereby.

The cooling system of claim 1 , further includes at least one air vent ( 141 ) that expels air from the attic into the atmosphere outside the structure; wherein the air vent is automatically controlled to open and close via automatic controls using an associated motor in coordination with the operation of the control sensors in a sensor control housing.
3 . A cooling system for cooling a structure with a roof and an attic, comprising:
a) an evaporative cooler ( 100 ) positioned on top of the roof and in fluid communication with the air in the attic sufficient to expel cooled air into the attic; and
ii) a living space air duct ( 208 ), coupled between the living space and the refrigerant cooler, to direct cooled air from the refrigerant cooler to the living space.
4 . The cooling system of claim 3 , further comprising:
control system ( 210 ), electrically coupled to the evaporative cooler and refrigerant cooler, to control the operation of the cooling system thereof.
5 . The cooling system of claim 4 , wherein the evaporative cooler includes a thermostat in thermal communication with the attic and in control of an activation state of the evaporative cooler according to a threshold temperature of the attic.
6 . The cooling system of claim 3 , wherein the living space air duct ( 208 ) has a portion thereof located in the attic and positioned to have a surface of the living space air duct in fluid communication with the air emitted from the evaporative cooler.
