16 . A system for making a burnable fuel comprising:
a material supply subsystem, where one or a plurality of source materials are collected to form an input material for subsequent system processing, where the input material includes a plurality of components including metals present in an amount between 1 wt. % and 10 wt. %, and a sizing or sizing and homogenizing subsystem, where the input material is sized or sized and partially or completely homogenized to produce a particulate burnable fuel having a desired particle size distribution for use as a fuel or fuel component suitable for use in cement plants, power plants, municipal incinerators for steam generation, or any other facility that burns fuels and converts heat derived from the burning of the fuel into a usable form of energy or for use of the heat and/or ash to make an end product.
17 . The system of claim 16 , further comprising:
a storage subsystem, where the particulate burnable fuel is stored for later use.
18 . The system of claim 16 , further comprising:
a combustion subsystem, where the particulate burnable fuel is burned to produce heat, to produce another form of energy from a portion of the heat or to produce a product.
19 . The system of claim 16 , further comprising:
a packaging or containerizing subsystem, where the particulate burnable fuel is packaged into containers to form a containerized particulate burnable fuel.
20 . The system of claim 19 , further comprising:
a storage subsystem, where the containerized particulate burnable fuel is stored for later use.
21 . The system of claim 19 , further comprising:
a combustion subsystem, where the containerized particulate burnable fuel is burned to produce heat, to produce another form of energy from a portion of the heat or to produce a product from the heat and/or ash.
22 . The system of claim 16 , further comprising:
a shaping unit, where some or all of the particulate burnable fuel is formed or shaped into a shaped burnable fuel.
23 . The system of claim 22 , further comprising:
a storage subsystem, where the shaped burnable fuel is stored for later use.
24 . The system of claim 22 , further comprising:
a combustion subsystem, where the shaped burnable fuel is burned to produce heat, to produce another form of energy from a portion of the heat or to produce a product from the heat and ash.
25 . The system of claim 22 , further comprising:
a combustion subsystem, where a mixture of the particulate burnable fuel and the shaped burnable fuel are burned to produce heat, to produce another form of energy from a portion of the heat or to produce a product from the heat and/or ash.
26 . The system of claim 22 , further comprising:
a packaging or containerizing subsystem, where some or all of the shaped burnable fuel is packaged into containers to form a containerized shaped burnable fuel.
27 . The system of claim 26 , further comprising:
a storage subsystem, where the containerized, shaped burnable fuel is stored for later use.
28 . The system of claim 26 , further comprising:
a combustion subsystem, where the containerized shaped burnable fuel is burned to produce heat, to produce another form of energy from a portion of the heat or to produce a product from the heat and/or ash.
29 . The system of claim 26 , further comprising:
a combustion subsystem, where a mixture of the containerized particulate burnable fuel, the shaped burnable fuel and the containerized shaped burnable fuel are burned to produce heat, to produce another form of energy from a portion of the heat or to produce a product from the heat and/or ash.
30 . The system of claim 16 , further comprising:
a pre-processing subsystem, where the input material is pre-processed, prior to sizing to produce a pre-processed material.
31 . The system of claim 16 , further comprising:
a pre-processing subsystem, where the input material is pre-processed, after sizing.
32 . The system of claim 16 , wherein the metal materials are selected from the group consisting of aluminum, aluminum alloys, iron, iron alloys, nickel, nickel alloys, tin, tin alloys, copper, copper alloys, etc. and/or mixtures of combinations thereof.
33 . The system of claim 16 , wherein the particles have a smallest dimension of between about 0.1 μm and about 1000 mm.
34 . The system of claim 22 , wherein the shape has dimensions ranging between about 0.5 cm and about 20 cm.
35 . The system of claim 22 , wherein the shape is a cylindrical shape or substantially cylindrical shape.
