Abstract
A blanket for securing in combination a baby and a baby carrier, the blanket including a front and back panels to form a pouch receiving the baby and the baby carrier. The blanket with the baby and the carrier are supported on the shoulder or neck a person by the strap of the carrier. Lateral panels attached to the pouch secure the blanket to the body of the person.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A blanket for holding in combination a baby and a baby carrier of the type having a body portion engaging the body of the baby and at least one carrier strap arranged for holding the carrier and the baby by the neck or shoulder of a person, said blanket comprising:
a main panel; a front panel attached to the main panel to form a pouch with two lateral sides and a bottom side that are closed and a top forming an opening, said main panel and front panel cooperating to form said pouch to receive said baby and said baby carrier, with at least the baby's head and said one carrier strap extending outwardly of said pouch; and a pair of blanket securing members attached to said lateral sides, said blanket securing members being sized and constructed to be interlocked around the person's body.
2 . The blanket of claim 1 wherein said blanket securing members are formed with respective interlocking members, said interlocking members forming a snap when interlocked.
3 . The blanket of claim 1 further comprising a pair of baby securing members attached to one of said main panel and said front panel, said pair of baby securing members being selectively interlocked to secure said pouch around the baby after the baby has been inserted into the pouch.
4 . The blanket of claim 1 further comprising a top panel sized and shaped to selectively form a hood for the baby when the baby is disposed in said pouch.
5 . The blanket of claim 4 wherein said top panel is formed of two panel sections that can be selectively closed to form said hood or opened.
6 . The blanket of claim 1 wherein said top panel is removable.
7 . The blanket of claim 6 wherein said top panel is attached to said main body by a zipper.
8 . The blanket of claim 1 wherein said top of said front panel includes a strip of elastic material to control the length of said top.
9 . A blanket comprising:
a main panel; a front panel attached to said main panel along its side edges and a bottom edge thereby forming with said main panel a pouch open at the top; and a top panel attached to said main panel; wherein said pouch is arranged and constructed to receive in combination a baby and a baby carrier with a carrier strap, the head of the baby and the strap being disposed outside said pouch.
10 . The blanket of claim 9 wherein said top panel is selectively foldable to define a hood for the baby's head.
11 . The blanket of claim 9 further comprising a first pair of side panels arranged and constructed to secure said blanket to a person's body so that said person can carry said baby and said baby carrier in combination within said pouch.
12 . The blanket of claim 11 further comprising a second set of side panels arranged and constructed to selectively wrap and secure said baby within said pouch.
13 . The blanket of claim 9 wherein said top panel is removable.
