Abstract

This invention provides systems and methods for remote ordering where there is a client, that is configurable to accept orders; an information processing system, that is in communication with the client and configurable to receive orders from the client; a plurality of wireless modules in disparate physical locations that are in wireless communication with the information, processing system and configurable to receive orders from the information processing system; and an order presentation client that is in communication with the wireless module and configurable to present the order. Furthermore, the information processing system is configurable to route the orders to a selected wireless module based on the order.

         21 . A computer system for providing remote ordering, the computer system comprising:
 an order processing computer system operable to:
 present at least two product or service favorites in an order defined by a user defined favorite display-order; and 
 obtain an order including:
 at least one product or service favorite indication in response to a selection of at least one presented product or service favorite; and 
 a vendor selection comprising a vendor location selection; and determine a destination wireless computer module located at the selected vendor location, based on the vendor location. 
 
   
     
     
         22 . The system of  claim 21 , wherein the order processing computer is further operable to communicate the at least one product or service favorite indication to the destination wireless computer module. 
     
     
         23 . The system of  claim 21  further comprising:
 a wireless computer module including an order presentation client and operable to:
 obtain at least one product or service favorite indication from the order processing system; and 
 present via the order presentation client an order ticket corresponding to the at least one product or service favorite indication. 
 
 
     
     
         24 . The system of  claim 23 , wherein the order presentation client is a printer. 
     
     
         25 . The system of  claim 21  wherein the order processing computer system is further operable to:
 obtain a plurality of user-defined favorites; and 
 obtain user-defined favorite display-order data. 
 
     
     
         26 . A computer implemented method for ordering, the method comprising:
 a computer presenting at least one user-defined favorite based on user-defined favorite display-order data;   the computer obtaining an order comprising:
 order data including at least one user-defined favorite; and 
 vendor selection data including a vendor location; and the computer determining a destination wireless device based on said vendor selection data. 
   
     
     
         27 . The method of  claim 26  further comprising:
 the computer obtaining user profile data including:
 at least one user-defined favorite; and 
 user-defined favorite display-order data. 
 
 
     
     
         28 . The method of  claim 26 , further comprising:
 the computer communicating the order data to the destination wireless device.   
     
     
         29 . The method of Claim  28 , further comprising:
 the destination wireless device presenting the order data via an order presentation client.   
     
     
         30 . The method of Claim  29 , further comprising:
 the destination wireless device generating an order presentation receipt indicating successful presentation of the order data.   
     
     
         31 . The method of Claim  26 , further comprising:
 sending the at least one user-defined favorite to a user device.   
     
     
         32 . The method of Claim  31 , wherein the at least one of user-defined favorite is presented via a user device. 
     
     
         33 . The method of Claim  26 , further comprising a user device generating the order including:
 the order data corresponding to at least one of the presented user-defined favorite; and   the vendor selection data.   
     
     
         34 . A computer implemented method for providing remote ordering, the method comprising:
 a computer communicating at least one of user-defined favorite based on user-defined favorite display-order data; and   the computer obtaining an order including:
 order data including at least one user-defined favorite; and 
 vendor selection data including a vendor location associated with a destination wireless module. 
   
     
     
         35 . The method of  claim 34 , further comprising:
 the computer communicating the order data to the destination wireless module.   
     
     
         36 . The method of Claim  35 , further comprising:
 the destination wireless module presenting via an order presentation client an order ticket corresponding to the order data.   
     
     
         37 . The method of Claim  36 , further comprising:
 the destination wireless module generating an order presentation receipt indicating successful presentation of the order ticket.   
     
     
         38 . The method of Claim  34 , further comprising:
 sending the at least one user-defined favorite to a user device.   
     
     
         39 . The method of Claim  34 , wherein the at least one user-defined favorite is presented via a user device. 
     
     
         40 . The method of Claim  34 , further comprising a user device generating the order including:
 the order data corresponding to at least one of the presented user-defined favorites; and   the vendor selection data.
