Abstract

An article of clothing with a securing element and cover is provided, the article of clothing comprises a pair of articles, each article comprises a first layer situated adjacent an open end of the article and a second foldable layer, and at least one securing member, the second layer may be folded in one direction to thereby cover the securing member, and in another direction to thereby expose the securing member during a use position, and the securing members of the first and second article are connectable to one another.

1 . An article of clothing comprising:
 a first and second article of clothing, each article comprising a closed end and an open end, each article comprising a first layer having a peripheral edge situated adjacent said open end of said article, said first layer of each of said articles comprising at one securing member, each article comprising a second foldable layer, said second layer is folded towards said peripheral edge of said first layer during a non-use position to thereby cover said securing member and at least a portion of said first layer, said second layer is folded away from said peripheral edge of said first layer thereby exposing said securing member during a use position, said securing members of said first and second article being connectable to one another.   
     
     
         2 . The article of  claim 1  wherein said first and second layers are woven to said article of clothing. 
     
     
         3 . The article of  claim 1  wherein said article of clothing is selected from a group consisting essentially of stockings, socks, knee highs, peds, gloves and articles of clothing that are in pairs. 
     
     
         4 . The article of  claim 1  wherein said securing member is selected from a group consisting essentially of snaps, buttons, hooks, (Velcro), list others. 
     
     
         5 . The article of  claim 1  wherein said second layer comprises a peripheral edge. 
     
     
         6 . The article of  claim 5  wherein said peripheral edge of said second layer is situated below said peripheral edge of said first layer during said non-use position. 
     
     
         7 . The article of  claim 5  wherein said peripheral edge of said second layer is parallel to said peripheral edge of said first layer during said non-use position. 
     
     
         8 . The article of  claim 1  wherein said securing member of said first article being connected to said securing member of said second article to thereby attach said first and second article to one another. 
     
     
         9 . An article of clothing comprising:
 a pair of articles of clothing, each article having open and closed ends, and first and second layers, said first layer being situated adjacent said open end of each of said articles; and   at least two securing members, each securing member being attached to at least a portion of said first layer of each of said articles, said second layer of each of said article being folded toward said open end of said article to thereby cover said securing member and at least a portion of said first layer, said second layer being folded away from said open end of said article to thereby expose said securing member, said securing members of each of said article are connected to connect said pair of articles of clothing.   
     
     
         10 . The article of  claim 9  wherein said first and second layers are woven to said article of clothing. 
     
     
         11 . The article of  claim 9  wherein said article of clothing is selected from a group consisting essentially of stockings, socks, knee highs, peds, gloves and articles of clothing that are in pairs. 
     
     
         12 . The article of  claim 9  wherein said securing member is selected from a group consisting essentially of snaps, hook and loop fasteners, buttons, hooks, straps and fasteners. 
     
     
         13 . The article of  claim 9  wherein each of said first and second layers comprises a peripheral edge. 
     
     
         14 . The article of  claim 13  wherein said peripheral edge of said second layer is situated below said peripheral edge of said first layer when said second layer is folded towards said open end of each of said articles. 
     
     
         15 . The article of  claim 13  wherein said peripheral edge of said second layer is parallel to said peripheral edge of said first layer when said second layer is folded towards said open end of each of said articles. 
     
     
         16 . An article of clothing comprising:
 a first and second article of clothing, each article comprising a closed end and an open end, each article comprising a first layer situated adjacent said open end of said article and a second foldable layer, said second layer of each of said articles comprising at least one securing member, said second layer is folded towards said open end of said article during a non-use position to thereby cover said securing member and at least a portion of said first layer, said second layer is folded away from said open end of said article thereby exposing said securing member during a use position, said securing members of said first and second article being connectable to one another.   
     
     
         17 . The article of  claim 16  wherein said first and second layers are woven to the article of clothing, said second layer being situated on an external surface of said first layer. 
     
     
         18 . The article of  claim 16  wherein said securing member is selected from a group consisting essentially of snaps, hook and loop fasteners, buttons, hooks, straps and fasteners. 
     
     
         19 . The article of  claim 16  wherein each of said first and second layers comprises a peripheral edge, said peripheral edge of said second layer is situated below said peripheral edge of said first layer when said second layer is folded towards said open end of each of said articles. 
     
     
         20 . The article of  claim 16  wherein each of said first and second layers comprises a peripheral edge, said peripheral edge of said second layer is parallel to said peripheral edge of said first layer when said second layer is folded towards said open end of each of said articles. 
     
     
         21 . The article of  claim 16  wherein each of said first and second layers comprises a peripheral edge, said peripheral edge of said second layer is situated above said peripheral edge of said first layer when said second layer is folded towards said open end of each of said articles. 
     
     
         22 . An article of clothing comprising:
 a first and second article of clothing, each article comprising a closed end and an open end, each article comprising a first layer situated adjacent said open end of said article and a second foldable layer, at least one securing member, said second layer is folded towards said closed end of said article during a non-use position to thereby cover said securing member, said second layer is folded away from said closed end of said article thereby exposing said securing member during a use position, said securing members of said first and second article being connectable to one another.   
     
     
         23 . The article of  claim 22  wherein said securing members are attached to said first layers of each of said first and second article of clothing. 
     
     
         24 . The article of  claim 22  wherein said article of clothing is selected from a group consisting essentially of stockings, socks, knee highs, peds, gloves and articles of clothing that are in pairs. 
     
     
         25 . The article of  claim 22  wherein said securing member is selected from a group consisting essentially of snaps, hook and loop fasteners, buttons, hooks, straps and fasteners.
