Abstract

A drill bit suspension structure includes a case that receives a drill bit therein. The case has a bottom board forming a through hole from which an insertion tube extends for receiving and holding a drill bit therein in an erected fashion thereby positioning a cutting edge portion of the drill bit inside the case but allowing a shank of the drill bit to extend outside the case. Alternatively, a retention seat is received on the bottom board of the case and forms a central bore that receives the insertion of a tip of the drill bit to thereby also retain the drill bit in an erected fashion. As such, the spiral cutting edge portion can be effectively protected and aesthetics of suspending exhibition of the drill bit can be realized.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A drill bit suspension structure, comprising a cover that comprises a suspension board and a case that is adapted to receive a tool piece disposed therein, the case having a top forming an opening for receiving entry of the tool piece and is closable by the cover, the case having a bottom board that forms a central through hole having a circumferential rim extending to a predetermined length so as to form an insertion tube which receives a shank of the tool piece therein and allows the shank to extend outside the case, whereby the tool piece is held in an erected condition to ensure safety of the tool piece in suspending exhibition.

2 . The drill bit suspension structure according to claim 1 , wherein the insertion tube is formed to extend outside the bottom board.

3 . The drill bit suspension structure according to claim 1 , wherein the insertion tube is formed to extend inside the bottom board of the case by a predetermined distance.

4 . The drill bit suspension structure according to claim 1 , wherein the insertion board is formed on a lining board that is received in the case.

5 . The drill bit suspension structure according to claim 1 , wherein the suspension board is directly mounted to a top of the cover for suspension.

6 . A drill bit suspension structure, comprising a cover that comprises a suspension board and a case that is adapted to receive a tool piece disposed therein, the case having a top forming an opening for receiving entry of the tool piece and is closable by the cover, the case having a bottom board on which a retention seat is set, the retention seat forming a central bore that is adapted to receive insertion of a tip of the tool piece so as to secure the tool piece to the retention seat to thereby hold the tool piece in an erected condition.

7 . The drill bit suspension structure according to claim 1 , wherein the retention seat is a separate member that receives and retains the tip of the tool piece, the retention seat and the tool piece retained thereon being collectively disposed into the case.

8 . The drill bit suspension structure according to claim 1 , wherein the retention seat is integrally formed on the bottom board of the case and raised therefrom by a predetermined elevation.

9 . The drill bit suspension structure according to claim 1 , wherein the retention seat has an outside configuration resembling the case.
