Abstract

A riser for a snow blowing attachment has a snow blowing attachment frame including a wheel axle and two spaced attachment arms extending perpendicularly therefrom; a pair of wheels rotationally connected to the wheel axle and adapted to support the snow blowing attachment frame above a driving surface. A pair of spaced parallel elongated connecting members each pivotally connected to the spaced attachment arms and adapted to be removably connected to two lower points of a three point hitch. A wishbone frame member having two spaced distal ends respectively pivotally connected to the spaced attachment arms, and a proximal end positioned a distance from the wheel axle. A stem member attached at one end to the proximal end of the wishbone frame and extending in substantially the same direction as the two spaced attachment arms.

A riser for a snow blowing attachment comprising a snow blowing attachment frame including a wheel axle and two spaced attachment arms extending perpendicularly therefrom; a pair of wheels rotationally connected to said wheel axle and adapted to support said snow blowing attachment frame above a driving surface; a pair of spaced parallel elongated connecting members each pivotally connected to said spaced attachment arms and adapted to be removably connected to two lower points of a three point hitch; a wishbone frame member having two spaced distal ends respectively pivotally connected to said spaced attachment arms, and a proximal end positioned a distance from said wheel axle; a stem member attached at one end to said proximal end of said wishbone frame and extending in substantially the same direction as said two spaced attachment arms; and a hydraulic piston member pivotally connected at one end to said proximal end of said wishbone frame member opposite from said stem member and is adapted to be operatively and pivotally connected at an upper point of the three point hitch; said hydraulic piston and said pair of connecting members forming a three-point triangular hitch, such that when the snow blowing attachment is secured between said two spaced attachment arms and said stem member, said hydraulic piston is used to pivot said wishbone frame with respect to said wheel axle and thereby pivot said snow blowing attachment with respect to said driving surface. 
     
     
         2 . The riser of  claim 1 , wherein said stem member has a plurality of attachment holes therein along its length adapted for adjustably connecting to a top portion of a snow blowing attachment.

A combination of a riser and a snow blowing attachment, said combination comprising a snow blowing attachment; and said riser comprising a snow blowing attachment frame including a wheel axle and two spaced attachment arms extending perpendicularly therefrom; a pair of wheels rotationally connected to said wheel axle and adapted to support said snow blowing attachment frame above a driving surface; a pair of spaced parallel elongated connecting members each pivotally connected to said spaced attachment arms and adapted to be removably connected to two lower points of a three point hitch; a wishbone frame member having two spaced distal ends respectively pivotally connected to said spaced attachment arms, and a proximal end positioned a distance from said wheel axle; a stem member attached at one end to said proximal end of said wishbone frame and extending in substantially the same direction as said two spaced attachment arms; and a hydraulic piston member pivotally connected at one end to said proximal end of said wishbone frame member opposite from said stem member and is adapted to be operatively and pivotally connected at an upper point of the three point hitch; said hydraulic piston and said pair of connecting members forming a three-point triangular hitch, such that when the snow blowing attachment is secured between said two spaced attachment arms and said stem member, said hydraulic piston is used to pivot said wishbone frame with respect to said wheel axle and thereby pivot said snow blowing attachment with respect to said driving surface. 
     
     
         4 . The riser of  claim 3 , wherein said stem member has a plurality of attachment holes therein along its length adapted for adjustably connecting to a top portion of a snow blowing attachment.

A combination of a tractor, a riser, and a snow blowing attachment, said combination comprising a tractor including riser attachment members, and hydraulic piston connecting and control means; a snow blowing attachment; and a riser comprising a snow blowing attachment frame including a wheel axle and two spaced attachment arms extending perpendicularly therefrom; a pair of wheels rotationally connected to said wheel axle and adapted to support said snow blowing attachment frame above a driving surface; a pair of spaced parallel elongated connecting members each pivotally connected to said spaced attachment arms and adapted to be removably connected to two lower points of a three point hitch; a wishbone frame member having two spaced distal ends respectively pivotally connected to said spaced attachment arms, and a proximal end positioned a distance from said wheel axle; a stem member attached at one end to said proximal end of said wishbone frame and extending in substantially the same direction as said two spaced attachment arms; and a hydraulic piston member pivotally connected at one end to said proximal end of said wishbone frame member opposite from said stem member and is adapted to be operatively and pivotally connected at an upper point of the three point hitch; said hydraulic piston and said pair of connecting members forming a three-point triangular hitch, such that when the snow blowing attachment is secured between said two spaced attachment arms and said stem member, said hydraulic piston is used to pivot said wishbone frame with respect to said wheel axle and thereby pivot said snow blowing attachment with respect to said driving surface. 
     
     
         6 . The riser of  claim 3 , wherein said stem member has a plurality of attachment holes therein along its length adapted for adjustably connecting to a top portion of a snow blowing attachment.
